JOB TITLE: General Service Technician
We are looking for technicians who are interested in taking their career to "the next level". If you have tools and some experience, but you aren't yet the diagnostic technician that you desire to be, we have the opportunity for you! Our General Service Technicians work side by side with our ASE Certified Master Technicians while gaining experience, ASE accreditation and the diagnostic skills needed to grow your career as a automotive repair professional. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a General Service Technician at Christian Brothers Automotive, you will be responsible for, but not limited to the following:
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
This is an hourly position. We would prefer candidates who possess one or more ASE Certifications, however this is not required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by any applicant in order to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the Automotive Technician must:
Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds.
Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head.
Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair.
Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand-tools
Walk/stand for the majority of the workday.
Drive manual transmission vehicles.
Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment.
Efficiently navigate a computer.
