The Events Marketing Manager will be responsible for executing Colibri Group’s event and tradeshow strategy across all four financial services brands—STC, XCEL, OnCourse Learning, and BIF. This role will oversee all aspects of event planning and execution, including logistics, budget management, booth experience, lead management, and ROI tracking. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-driven, and experienced in managing B2B events that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and lead generation.
What You'll Do- Event Planning & Logistics
- Plan, coordinate, and execute all aspects of event logistics, including registration, shipping, ordering materials, and on-site execution.
- Develop and maintain event timelines, checklists, and vendor relationships to ensure seamless event execution.
- Coordinate with internal teams (sales, marketing, product) to align event participation with business objectives.
- Budget & Vendor Management
- Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective event execution while maximizing impact.
- Source, negotiate, and manage relationships with vendors, venues, and third-party event partners.
- Track and report on event expenses to ensure financial efficiency and ROI.
- Booth Experience & Tradeshow Strategy
- Oversee booth design, branding, and interactive elements to create engaging event experiences.
- Develop strategies to increase booth traffic, optimize customer engagement, and support sales teams at events.
- Manage promotional items, collateral, and digital assets for in-person and virtual events.
- Lead Management & Post-Event Reporting
- Implement lead capture and tracking strategies to ensure seamless data collection at events.
- Work closely with sales and marketing teams to follow up on event-generated leads, ensuring effective lead nurturing.
- Analyze and report on event performance metrics, including attendee engagement, lead conversion, and overall ROI.
What You'll Need to Succeed- 3-5+ years of experience in event marketing, B2B event management, or a related role.
- Proven track record of planning and executing successful tradeshows, conferences, and virtual events.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Experience with event marketing tools, CRM systems, and lead tracking platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, etc.).
- Budget management experience, including vendor negotiations and expense tracking.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally across teams.
- Knowledge of the financial services industry or education/training industry is a plus.
- Willingness to travel as needed for event execution (approx. 2-3 times a year).
