Job Description

The Lead Project Manager is responsible for the preparation, planning, and execution of residential commercial installation of stone veneer as well as land or brick and block masonry projects for their assigned portfolio as well as leading a small team of other project managers to achieve installation goals. This is a customer-facing role with a strong emphasis on customer service and relationships. Project managers are the primary drivers of quality and timeliness of primarily new construction projects in the residential space, as well as repair and remodel where applicable. In addition, the Senior Project Manager both sets the example of project management excellence in our business and leads and develops others to do the same. 

This role will cover the South Bay Area of CA. 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own a portfolio of all commercial stone installation and masonry work within assigned area including new residential construction and repair/remodel​
  • Manage a team of project managers towards operational excellence and collaboration
  • Leads efforts to deliver on-time and in-full completion of installation jobs​
  • Drives accountability for self and fellow project managers to deliver on goals for the portfolio including support of strategic projects, as well as demonstrate commitment to safety and compliance within the area while accomplishing operational KPIs and metrics​
  • Responsible for managing and recruiting teams of sub-contractors and internal masonry employees to complete jobs
  • Uphold a strong customer focus with fellow project managers and their installer teams and demonstrate cross-functional leadership with sales, logistics, and support operations​
  • Demonstrate our core values and success behaviors in their approach to work and leadership​
  • Track dates and completions of jobs, ensuring smooth and quality work for builders
  • Builds a model territory for other project managers to emulate from a standpoint of OTIF, quality, minimized warranties, safety, and customer service

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in business, construction management or similar, or equivalent experience​
  • 5-7 years of experience in project management​
  • Experience managing a team
  • Ability to travel as required​
  • Solid understanding of the residential & commercial construction process​
  • Past experience in the new construction/remodel industry strongly preferred​
  • Past experience as a mason or in the masonry industry a significant plus
  • Strong Communication skills​
  • Ability to motivate a team to achieve market goals​
  • Team Leadership​
  • Solid computer skills including MS Office​
  • Ability to pick up new computer systems and software programs quickly​
  • Data analysis and reporting​
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

The US base salary for this role is $95,000 - $115,000 annually + Sales Incentive Plan + $750 monthly car allowance + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1 + 401k and PTO. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. (Full-time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week.)
