Order Picker Assistant

JOB DETAILS

Base Pay: $17.25 per hour plus $1.00 per hour shift differential

1st Shift: 6:45 am - 3:15 pm

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Provide support to the supply chain through collecting, loading, shipping, and receiving warehouse products
• Responsible for operating technical equipment, optimizing loading for efficient logistics, and supporting other warehouse functions to ensure optimal operation of the business
• Operate Stand-up Order Picker Forklift
• Wear mandatory PPE (Safety Glasses, Ear plugs, Safety Composite or Steel Toe Shoes, Safety Vest, Hard Hat, Full-body Safety Harness)
• Pick on Order Picker equipment at elevated heights up to 20 feet from ground level
• Work with and collaborate with “Picker assistant Operator” throughout the assigned shift
• Use wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory
• Scan and process materials accurately and timely to ensure customer satisfaction
• Adhere to quality and customer service standards set forth by the company
• Perform cycle counts as required
• Pick, wrap and stage orders to be shipped and load material on outbound delivery trucks for customer orders
• Inspect and perform maintenance of forklifts and other material handling equipment
• Identify safety hazards in the workplace
