Business Operations Manager

The BizOps team plays a pivotal role in this mission and solves some of Credit Karma's most important business problems. BizOps leads are embedded within our organization and collaborate with a cross-functional team to lead strategic initiatives that have a direct impact on our business. We drive operational discipline and clarity on performance to make Credit Karma successful at achieving our objectives. We are a team of highly-collaborative individuals that strive to enable financial progress for all of our members.

We’re looking for a Manager to help incubate our newly formed Corporate BizOps function.

What you’ll do:

Serve as a thought partner and sounding board to our leaders to help them drive data-driven decisions, with a focus on new to Credit Karma strategic explorations
Lead strategic projects and operationalize them to move the business forward
Manage key deliverables for the Executive Committee and company leadership, specifically focused on materials that take a comprehensive view on our entire business (eg monthly business reviews, Board materials, investor materials, product strategy)
Identify opportunities to leverage the platform, other verticals, strategic partnerships and acquisitions to grow the business
Collaborate with the team and leverage data to inform, develop, and iterate on business strategy

The role is highly cross-functional, which means you get to work with Product, Business Development, Marketing, Data Science, Financial Planning & Analysis, Corporate Development, and Engineering

Minimum Basic Requirement:

5+ years of total work experience, 2+ years of which in management consulting, investment banking, business operations, corporate strategy or finance
BA/BS degree from an accredited college or university

Preferred Qualifications:

Strong analytical chops and ability to problem-solve and understand key drivers of the business
Executive presence with the ability to develop a strong point of view on strategic priorities based on internal and external data
Excels in ambiguous environments: an ability to drive complex projects and develop processes with minimal guidance and oversight
Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to articulate, present and debate recommendations with all levels of management
Proactive and passionate self-starting general athlete with bias towards action and constant prioritization
Strong preference for background in management consulting or related field
Prior experience in financial services, payments or financial technology
MBA preferred
