Marketing Director (Americas)

Job Summary

The Marketing Director, working closely alongside the Global Marketing Director and the SVP Marketing Strategy, will be responsible for executing the regional marketing strategy to drive awareness, lead generation, and bookings for Crystal in The Americas. This role will oversee a regional marketing team in Miami. The role will manage the local marketing budget (US/CAN/LATAM), and partner closely with cross-functional regional teams, including Sales. The Marketing Director will work alongside the Global Marketing Director and the SVP Marketing Strategy, AKTG in London, to ensure Crystal’s brand presence, strategies, and campaigns align with broader business objectives, demonstrating strong project management skills to deliver projects on time and within budget.

Responsibilities and Accountabilities

Team Leadership

  • Lead the execution of the Americas marketing strategy across all channels, including digital, print, collateral, email, and direct mail, to enhance brand visibility and drive measurable results.
  • Collaborate with Global Marketing Director to align regional marketing goals with Crystal's commercial objectives, ensuring consistent brand messaging and market positioning.
  • Nurture and grow a high-performance team in the regional Miami office and build strong internal working relationships across Crystal and AKTG.

Americas Campaign Management

  • Work in collaboration with the Global team to deploy integrated (B2B/B2C) marketing campaigns for the Americas, managing end-to-end project timelines, deliverables, and key performance indicators to ensure timely execution.
  • Champion cross-functional collaboration, working with internal and external agency stakeholders where necessary, to ensure cohesive and impactful marketing efforts.
  • Manage all Consortia and Key Account annual marketing plans and budgets and delivery of content.
  • In conjunction with regional sales teams, plan and execute local trade activity from webinars and sales events to trade shows.

Collaboration

  • Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Guide the teams to deliver high-impact campaigns and initiatives.
  • Brief creative and copy teams on marketing needs for the Americas and oversee the delivery of high-quality content in conjunction with the Global Marketing Director.

Budget Management

  • Manage the day-to-day tracking of the Americas marketing budget.
  • Monitor and analyse budget utilisation and ensuring budget adherence.
  • Ensure Purchase Orders are raised for all expenses.

Project Management & Execution

  • Drive project management across all marketing activities, ensuring efficient workflow and completion within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Develop and maintain the global marketing calendar with accurate local activity, facilitating seamless coordination of campaigns, partnerships, and product launches.

Performance Measurement & Reporting

  • Oversee and report on the performance of Americas marketing efforts, compiling weekly updates and insights to inform senior leadership.
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement by tracking competitive landscape trends and adapting marketing strategies accordingly.

Stakeholder Management

  • Work closely with regional sales teams, GSAs, and A&K teams to ensure Crystal capitalises on co-promotional opportunities and maintains strong partnerships with all stakeholders.

Education: bachelor’s degree in marketing, Advertising, or related field preferred.

Experience: 10+ years of experience in marketing or advertising. along with strong people and stakeholder management skills. Cruise/Travel experience preferred.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience in implementing effective marketing plans, as well as managing a sizeable marketing budget.
  • Team leadership skill and experience.
  • Familiarity with marketing tactics and strategies for affluent markets.
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment where strategic brand-building efforts are priority – start-up experience a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint programs.
  • Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and/or InDesign is advantageous.

Expected Hours of Work

The position is full-time and frequently requires working additional time outside of normal business hours.
