POSITION SUMMARY
The Recruiter will oversee and administer the full cycle recruitment process across the organization for employees and contractors, as directed by the Manager of Recruiting. This role acts as an internal consultant; collaborates with hiring managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the organization’s recruitment needs to meet competitive hiring goals and expectations.
Deploys a variety of sourcing and networking techniques to research, identify, and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract a wide and diverse pool of qualified candidates. In coordination with Human Resources, process requisitions, publish job postings, source candidates, schedule interviews and extend employment offers. The Recruiter is responsible for administering pre-employment screening, collecting required onboarding documentation, and coordinating travel. Leads and/or supports recruiting processes, programs, and projects, as assigned.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Develops, implements, and facilitates all phases of the recruitment and selection process.
- Collaborates with department heads and hiring managers to obtain a clear understanding of all current and potential openings to best recruit for the roles.
- Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based upon staffing needs, role requirements, best practices, and the needs of the organization.
- Initiates and develops creative methods and techniques to source, recruit, and interview qualified professionals for open positions.
- Partner with hiring managers and department heads to develop forecasting models and workforce hiring plans.
- Maintains relationships with recruiting agencies and evaluates staffing rates to ensure we are paying market rates for agency staff.
- Maintains active job postings and collaborates with hiring managers to ensure that job postings are accurate and reaching desired applicants.
- Under the direction of the Manager of Recruiting, administers pre-employment evaluations and provides interpretation of results, including background checks, drug testing, and health screens.
- Creates and distributes employment offer letters or rejection correspondences, as directed.
- Serves as the key resource for identifying, evaluating, and managing recruitment tools and sites.
- Participates in the maintenance of the DNWest’s careers website and a variety of social media sites such as LinkedIn, Glassdoor, Facebook, Instagram, and X under direction of the Manager of Recruiting and Marketing and Communications.
- Develops and maintains relationships with community resources such as industry associations, vocational schools, and universities to participate in conferences, job fairs, open houses, and other means to build a continuous applicant pipeline for commonly filled positions.
- Leads the interview process including scheduling, attending, and conducting interviews with hiring managers and other stakeholders as needed.
- Assists hiring managers with preparation of interview questions.
- Develops and conducts recruiting training for hiring managers, including, but not limited to behavioral based interviewing and DNW’s recruiting processes and best practices.
- Under the direction of the Manager of Recruiting and in collaboration with the Recruiting Coordinator, maintains employee referral program.
- Partners with the Marketing and Communications Team to create materials to inform candidates of our open/commonly recruited positions.
- Builds trust and credibility with hiring managers and candidates throughout the recruiting and onboarding process.
- Serves as resource for recruitment policies, procedures, and practices to supervisors, Human Resources, and staff.
- Updates candidate workflows, documents pertinent information and runs data reports within the applicant tracking system (ATS), as directed.
- Reviews and processes status change requests including transfers and promotions.
- Coordinates travel accommodations for candidates and new employees.
- Works collaboratively with Human Resource and the Recruiting Coordinator to onboard new employees and ensure a smooth transition from applicant to employee status.
- Maintains strict employee privacy and confidentiality when handling candidate information and employee records.
- Partners with key stakeholders across the organization to identify, recommend, and implement opportunities for process improvement.
- Assists the Manager of Recruiting in partnering with hiring managers, department heads, and Human Resources to execute strategic workforce hiring plans.
- Leads and/or supports candidate experience-related projects.
- Helps to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including Office of Federal Contractor Compliance Programs (OFCCP) recruiting requirements as well as DNWest’s policies.
- Performs other duties, as assigned.

- Comfortable working with third party administrators and vendors.
- Experience working in healthcare environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of common human resources principles, practices, and metrics related to recruiting.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE - Bachelor’s degree preferred or commensurate work experience.
- A minimum of one to three years in fast-paced, diverse, and confidential work environments; acceptable work experience includes, but is not limited to, recruiting, human resources, executive and legal administrative support roles.
- Direct recruiting or human resources experience highly preferred.
- Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Society of Human resources Professional -Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification preferred.
