About the Team

The DoorDash Consumer Campaign Operations team’s mission is to efficiently deliver high quality, relevant communications that meet the needs of our consumers, globally. To accomplish this mission, we’re building a team of technical CRM experts who build, QA, and launch marketing campaigns designed by our Lifecycle Marketing partners. This team is goaled on high quality campaign delivery and operational efficiency so that each campaign reaches the correct audience on-time with excellent craft. 

About the Role

As the Consumer Campaign Operations Manager, you will lead a Consumer Campaign Operations team for a specific business line. You will partner closely with the Lifecycle Marketing team and Project Manager to ensure each campaign has the right staffing, has completed all required steps prior to launch, and is delivered on time to the end-consumer, with high quality and excellent craft. You will be responsible for your team’s high quality campaign delivery rate goal and partner with Martech, Product and Analytics to identify opportunities for further improvement across our Consumer Campaign Operation processes. You will be an expert in our first and third party tools and tech stack, and you will train and lead a team of experts in technical campaign execution. This role will report to the head of consumer campaign operations.

  • Campaign Strategy & Execution: Build, launch, and optimize retention marketing campaigns across email, push notifications, in-app messaging, and other channels using Braze. Includes driving the QA review process, collaborating with designers and copywriters, building target audience segments and capturing feedback from multiple stakeholders.
  • Team Leadership: Hire, train, manage and develop a team of Campaign Operations Associates, fostering growth, collaboration, and excellence in campaign execution.
  • Operational Efficiency: Develop scalable workflows, processes, and best practices to ensure campaigns are launched with high quality and minimal errors.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with teams such as Lifecycle Marketing, Martech, Data Science, Product, Engineering, and Design to align on campaign goals, audience segmentation, and creative execution.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze campaign performance, providing insights and recommendations to improve quality, craft and efficiency for future initiatives.
  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary point of contact for Campaign Operations for your business line, ensuring alignment with company goals and priorities.
  • Tool Expertise: Leverage Braze and other marketing platforms to implement sophisticated campaigns, including automation, dynamic content, and A/B testing.

We’re excited about you because…

  • Experience: 5-6 years of experience in CRM or Lifecycle Marketing, with at least 2 years in a management role. Experience leading a Marketing Operations team preferred. 
  • Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with Braze and other CRM tools. Ability to read, write and edit HTML/CSS and/or SQL is a plus. 
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
  • Operational Excellence: Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Analytical Mindset: Ability to interpret data to inform decisions and optimize campaign development and quality. Proficiency in Excel required and ability to write SQL is a plus.
  • Collaborative Approach: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Compensation

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions.  Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

The base pay for this position ranges from our lowest geographical market up to our highest geographical market within the United States.
