DREAM is seeking a dynamic and results-driven individual to serve as the network Student Recruitment Coordinator. Reporting to the Director of Student Recruitment, the Student Recruitment Coordinator will be responsible for the execution of on the ground recruitment and enrollment tactics, for driving recruitment efforts with community based partners, and will function as a contact person for all enrollment inquiries. The Student Recruitment Coordinator will have a significant role in ensuring the efficiency of enrollment systems and in the development of key community partnerships while providing exemplary customer service.
This is an exciting opportunity to support with refining and scaling DREAM’s student recruitment and enrollment processes. The ideal candidate must understand and value DREAM’s unique approach to youth development, must enjoy building relationships in new communities, and must be comfortable traveling across the Bronx.
Responsibilities- Execute on student recruitment and enrollment initiatives, in partnership with the Director of Student Recruitment and school staff, to achieve 100% enrollment in all schools on the first day of classes;
- Support with all outreach efforts to hit target application numbers in each school and grade, including but not limited to literature drop-off at community organizations and daycares/headstarts/preschools, attending school fairs and community recruitment events, and generating new leads;
- Drive all lead outreach efforts to convert leads to applicants, including but not limited to ensuring all leads receive a call in a timely and cultivating way;
- Ensure data integrity in Schoolmint, including the accurate transfer of information from the website application;
- Serve as the primary point of contact with new to DREAM families and ensure a smooth handoff to school staff that supports families with registration;
- Support with developing inventory systems for recruitment promotional materials to allow for supplies to be stocked and ordered in a timely manner, and ensure schools have needed materials;
- Take on additional student recruitment responsibilities, as needed.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree, required;
- Conversational Proficiency in Spanish, required;
- 1+ years of experience in office management, customer service, student recruitment, talent recruitment, or other similar positions, required;
- Experience within charter schools, highly preferred;
- Effective time management and ability to prioritize tasks;
- Ability to keep information organized in order to complete tasks in a timely manner;
- Strong customer service orientation;
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally;
- Ability to enter data accurately and in a timely manner;
- Flexibility and adaptability;
- Familiarity with SchoolMint, preferred;
- Familiarity with GoogleSuite (docs, drive, sheets, etc.);

Working Expectations- The Student Recruitment Coordinator is part of the People and Equity Team, which currently works 3 days in the office and up to 2 days remote, per week (subject to change, and with some weeks requiring more time in-person, for example for student recruitment events).
- Typical hours for a Student Recruitment Coordinator are roughly 10:00am until 7:00pm, with occasional shifts in timing as needed throughout the school year.
- Occasional later evening & weekend work to attend student recruitment events is required.

Compensation- DREAM offers a competitive salary commensurate with relevant experience with the potential for an annual performance-based increase. The incoming salary range for this position is $63,500 to $73,500 per year. New hires are typically brought into the organization at a salary closer to the start of the range depending on qualifications, internal equity, and the budgeted amount for the role. All staff are eligible for annual performance-based increases. Because we value staff tenure in each role, we do not currently cap salary ranges.
