ROLE

The Conversion Specialist & Account Manager optimizes products on the Amazon platform for increased sessions, conversions, revenue, and profit, and oversees the entire inventory management process to maintain optimal stock levels and prevent over-supply. The primary focus (70%) is on SKU performance, followed by inventory management (20%), and administrative tasks (10%) rounding out the role.

Responsibilities:

SKU Performance (70%):

  • Set KPIs for traffic, sales, and profit per product.
  • Create dashboards for team members to analyze product performance.
  • Analyze tools and datasets (Daily Sales Tracker, GAP Analysis, Keyword Rank Tracker, Brand Analytics, etc.) to monitor product performance.
  • Conduct Amazon-specific keyword research to improve product rankings and visibility. Regularly update keywords based on market trends and consumer behavior.
  • Optimize Amazon product listings (titles, descriptions, bullet points, and images) across English-speaking and EU marketplaces (DE, FR, IT, ES), adapting content to local languages and buyer behavior to boost visibility and sales.
  • Monitor and ensure product listings comply with Amazon’s standards and are optimized for search performance.
  • Develop and implement action plans to increase revenue and profit per SKU.
  • Monitor and optimize promotions, deals, and coupons on Amazon to drive sales and customer engagement.
  • Maintain a dashboard/scorecard for all Amazon products, highlighting performance.
  • Collaborate with the PPC Manager during product launches.
  • Decide when to discontinue unprofitable products.
  • Update products on Amazon to boost performance.
  • Liaise with the Operations Director for action plans.
  • Contribute to design briefs for listing copy and graphics based on product research.
  • Maintain internal processes/SOPs/systems for scalability.

Inventory Management (20%):

  • Monitor and update inventory levels and forecasts weekly.
  • Use inventory software to track events (purchases, stock-outs, shipments, and transfers).
  • Update the team on inventory status during weekly meetings.
  • Create sales forecasts and estimate orders based on sales history and promotions.
  • Create and manage Amazon FBA shipments.
  • Maintain an IPI score above 700 on Amazon.
  • Use and maintain an effective inventory management strategy and software.
  • Communicate with the Operations Director to manage excess inventory and stock levels.
  • Maintain inventory scorecards for executive leadership.

Administrative Responsibilities (10%):

  • Create and maintain scorecards, KPIs, and dashboards for the leadership team.
  • Manage the company calendar, including scheduling meetings, product launches, and other events.

RESULTS

SKU Performance:

  • Achieve set targets for daily sessions, CVR, sales, revenue, ad spend, and profit per SKU.
  • Implement systems to address downward trends in SKU performance.
  • Maintain detailed dashboards with SKU metrics and notes.
  • Ensure all products exceed minimum profitability standards.
  • Continuously run split tests to boost revenue and profit.
  • Provide timely data for product launches to the PPC Manager.
  • Successfully execute promotions, deals, and coupons on Amazon to boost revenue, improve rankings, and maintain control over profit margins.

Inventory Management:

  • Maintain IPI score above Amazon's minimum for no restrictions (currently 700).
  • Balance inventory levels to avoid stock-outs and over-supply.
  • Ensure inventory is accounted for during all stages (production, shipping, and storage).
  • Provide up-to-date inventory metrics.
  • Maintain clear inventory management software with cost and location transparency.
  • Keep forecasts for future purchases updated weekly.
  • Ensure 100% clarity on inventory whereabouts.
  • Manage cases on Amazon Seller Central, including reimbursement claims and issue resolution.

Administrative Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain detailed scorecards, KPIs, and dashboards for leadership review.
  • Schedule and manage company meetings, product launches, and key events using the company calendar.
  • Ensure timely communication of important dates and milestones to relevant stakeholders.
  • Monitor and update performance metrics to align with ongoing business goals.
  • Develop systems to track and resolve seller support cases efficiently.

  • Proven Amazon FBA Expertise (Minimum 3 Years):
    Demonstrated ability to manage and optimize an Amazon FBA catalog with quantifiable results, including increased CVR, sessions, revenue, and profit.
  • Multilingual Marketplace Experience:
    Proven track record of managing and optimizing listings across multiple Amazon marketplaces beyond English-speaking regions—specifically Germany (DE), France (FR), Italy (IT), and Spain (ES). Ability to adapt product content, SEO strategy, and promotions to local language nuances and consumer behavior in each region. Experience collaborating with native translators or using AI-powered localization tools to ensure accuracy and resonance with target audiences.
  • Data-Driven and Analytical Skills:
    Experience in performance marketing and Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO), with a high proficiency in data analysis and decision-making.
  • Experience with split testing and Amazon A/B testing tools
  • Tool Proficiency:
    Advanced skills in Excel, Google Sheets, and MS Office or Google Workspace. Familiarity with project management tools like ClickUp, Asana or Notion and video communication tools such as Loom.
  • Experience with E-commerce and 3PL Inventory Management:
    Hands-on experience in managing e-commerce inventory, supply chains, and third-party logistics (3PL) for optimal stock control and fulfillment efficiency.
  • Independent Strategic Planning and Execution:
    Ability to independently plan, execute, and optimize strategies for product listings, promotions, and other Amazon FBA operations.
  • Excellent English Communication Skills:
    Strong written and spoken English for clear communication, reporting, and team collaboration.
  • Proactive Communication Skills:
    Proven ability to communicate proactively and provide regular updates, ensuring transparency and alignment with team goals and projects.
  • Problem-Solving and Initiative:
    Resourceful and proactive with strong problem-solving skills, capable of working autonomously and effectively within a team setting.
  • Attention to Detail and Results-Oriented:
    Meticulous, detail-oriented, and focused on achieving measurable results and continuous improvement.

    Candidates must have access to a stable, high-speed internet connection (minimum 10 Mbps) suitable for video calls, data uploads, and accessing online tools without interruptions.
  • Suitable Remote Work Environment:
    A dedicated, quiet workspace free from interruptions to facilitate focused work and professional video calls.
  • Owns an Updated and Reliable Computer:
    Must have a computer with updated software, capable of running multiple applications (such as Excel, Google Sheets, and video conferencing) simultaneously without lag.
  • Time Management and Self-Discipline:
    Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and remain self-motivated without direct supervision.
  • Experience Working Across Different Time Zones:
    Flexibility to collaborate with global teams and, if required, adjust working hours to align partially with the company’s time zone.

Compensation:

We offer a results-driven compensation structure, starting with a fixed salary that increases incrementally during a three-month onboarding period. Additional performance-based bonuses are available for those who demonstrate consistent impact. This is a full-time, remote role where your growth is tied to the value you bring — we focus on outcomes, not hours.

Compensation will be discussed after the initial assessment stages, which include a Criteria cognitive aptitude test and a test project. These assessments are designed to take time, as they allow us to screen for candidates who are committed and possess the right skills and experience to excel in this role.
