ELPEDISON, with its two privately-owned power plants in Thisvi (Voiotia) and Thessaloniki, with a total installed capacity of 820 MW, uses natural gas as fuel and ensures a clean and continuous electricity flow, based on a highly environmentally-friendly power generation process.

We are currently looking for a Collection Specialist who will ensure the accuracy of customer balances by executing and monitoring payment flows from all available company channels, as well as the administration and monitoring of customer refunds flow. In this role you will collaborate with banking institutions and other company departments (IT, Finance, Credit, Stores etc.) to resolve any issues, manage the flow of dunning requests to and from distribution network administrators (HEDNO, EDA) and actively participate in new projects or the optimization of existing ones (payment channels, dunning flows), in terms of analysis and testing. Furthermore you will provide secondary support on collection-related issues on a daily basis, ensuring that set targets are met.

What will you do:

• Administrate and monitor the daily processing of customer payments from all available channels and update the system accordingly. Submit standing orders to the bank system.
• Coordinate with the Finance department for payment reconciliation.
• Contact banking institutions, Elpedison shops, and customers to resolve any payment-related issues.
• Oversee and manages the flow of customer refunds from the receipt of the customer's request to its execution by the Accounting department, updating accordingly the status of the requests and customers' balances.
• Manage issues and communication with key clients regarding collection matters, including settlements, payment issues, and dispute resolution
• Manage the flow of dunning requests to and from distribution network administrators (HEDNO, EDA) on a daily basis, ensuring that the system remains up to date with the corresponding information.
• Provide secondary-level support on collection issues that are communicated through cases in the CRM, as well as emails and phone calls from other departments (e.g., customer care, sales, etc.) or directly from key clients ensuring that set time targets are met.
• Identify systemic dysfunctions and ensure their resolution in collaboration with IT, guaranteeing proper operation.
• Participate in implementing new system features or improvements during the analysis and testing phases, as well as in changes in physical flows or the setup of new ones.

What you need to be successful:

• 2-4 years of experience in a relevant field.
• Hold a BSc degree.
• Excellent command of the English language.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Good analytical thinking skills and procedure-oriented.
• Excellent conflict management and negotiation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as interpersonal skills.
