Director, Events and Strategic Partnerships (Revenue Cycle)

Position Summary


The Director of Events & Strategic Partnerships (DoESP) is responsible for EnableComp’s event & tradeshow strategy.  Leveraging industry and EC-hosted events, technology, content, and multiple communication channels, the DoESP will prioritize building a strong sales pipeline of highly qualified leads to drive high conversion percentages and effective sales appointments.  Additionally, the DoESP will create experiences that not only build the brand but provide space for the sales, product, marketing, client engagement and operations teams to foster strong customer relationships.   


Additionally, this role will work to elevate and expand our relationship with critical strategic partners like the HFMA,  THMA, and Connector Partners. The purpose is to optimize all partnership opportunities for the betterment of the business and achieving business goals. This includes leveraging industry webinars and sponsorship opportunities to drive greater lead flow and brand awareness and work with Connector Partners for lead generation.  In this role you will partner with sales, product, marketing, operations, and client engagement peers to create smart, effective strategies that not only meet but exceed business expectations.


Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement all event strategies to generate leads, build the brand, and provide customer relationship management opportunities.  This role “owns” all industry events and corporate-owned events.
  • Elevate the communication strategy pre-, during-, and post-event to capitalize on nurture opportunities to build the sales pipeline.
  • Optimize industry-led webinars and speaking engagements to garner stronger lead generation and brand building.
  • As a cornerstone to our Thought Leadership program, implement an EC-hosted webinar program designed to influence demand generation and brand awareness.
  • Optimization of event tools & processes to accurately capture all lead generation activity.
  • Partner with peers around the business to ensure a strong ROI from event and partner initiatives.
  • Management of event & webinar lead journey via all channels from lead source to sf.com
  • An understanding of brand positioning to create successful, strategic campaigns.
  • Secure incremental key industry partnerships to build the brand and impact lead generation.
  • Awareness of competitive strategy and messaging to effectively manage our position.
  • A passion for data is required to produce regular and consistent analysis of all event & webinar/partner activity, via reports & dashboards, to achieve Marketing KPIs.
  • Provides leadership and oversight of Marketing Coordinator
  • Collaborate with SVP, Partnerships on managing and leveraging Connector Partners to drive lead generation and track progress in SF.  


Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Marketing, Communications, or other related discipline.
  • 5-7+ years’ experience in event & partner marketing as a manager or higher.
  • Ability to effectively leverage a variety of marketing and communication channels to achieve expected outcomes.
  • Expert level understanding of event execution and management.
  • Salesforce.com, Zoom, HubSpot, and event registration platform experience critical.
  • Experience in managing direct reports and multiple 3rd party agencies to successfully expedite strategies and achieve business outcomes.
  • Budget and expense management experience.
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.

  • Must have strong computer proficiency and understand how to use basic office applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook).

  • Highly detail oriented and organized.
  • Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize schedule and critical tasks.
  • Ability to work independently or part of a team.
  • Proven ability to coach, develop, evaluate and mentor staff.
