About the Role

The Clinical Outcomes Director is responsible for defining and benchmarking patient outcomes and continuously monitoring outcomes by cohorts, service lines, etc. The Clinical Outcomes Director will maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry and academic innovations and collaborate cross-functionally to identify opportunities to improve outcomes. The Clinical Outcomes Director will have extensive experience in clinical science with strong execution skills to meet deadlines and create impactful reports conveying outcomes and recommendations for improvement.


Responsibilities
  • Establish and continually validate outcome definitions, assessment methods, and expectations for patient outcomes that achieve stakeholder needs and demonstrate value across the organization.
  • Collaborate with teams across the organization including: Data & Insights and Enterprise teams to support value-based contract development, Marketing to deliver Annual Outcomes Report, Program Development and Product to support program evaluation (as an R&D functional collaboration), and others.
  • Generate high quality, interpretable monthly, quarterly, and annual reports on outcomes and drivers of outcome.Identify levers and opportunities to improve outcomes for different patient populations or service lines by staying current on research literature and evaluating factors influencing outcomes in our patient population.
  • Create executive summaries and visual reports to senior leadership.
  • Translate work for both internal and external audiences.
  • Evaluate sustainment of clinical outcomes for patients post-discharge.
  • Perform other duties as assigned. 


Qualifications
  • Master’s degree and/or PhD/PsyD in psychology or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience evaluating behavioral health outcomes in industry and/or academic settings (experience in the eating disorder field a plus).
  • Strong problem solving, quantitative and analytical abilities including trend analysis benchmarking with the ability to translate to strategy (use of R and SQL a plus).
  • Demonstrated ability to think flexibly to drive innovation and achieve strong patient outcomes from clinical intervention.
  • Proven ability to build effective relationships across an organization, including the ability to promote ideas persuasively and effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic environment.


$140,000 - $170,000 a year
Compensation Package
Total Compensation Range
- The salary range for this position in the US is $140000-170000/yr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In addition, this position is eligible for an annual 15% target cash bonus.

Work From Home Additional Perks:

Physical Demands

Work is performed 100% from home with no requirement to travel. This is a stationary position that requires the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards as well as to talk or hear by telephone. Sit or stand as needed.
