Working student/intern PowerBI

Eurofins Food Safety Solutions is looking for an intern with a ‘science-based business’ attitude! We are looking for interns in PowerBI for our consultant department. As a Power BI Developer, you will play a pivotal role in the development and optimization of customer-facing dashboards that provide key insights into performance and data. In this role, you will work closely with the BI team, the expertise team, and the FSS (Functional Service Support) operations team to ensure the right information is presented in the most effective way. Your work will directly impact the delivery of timely and meaningful insights to our customers, helping them stay informed and make data-driven decisions.

You will be responsible for developing dashboards in Power BI that enable clients to quickly access relevant performance data regarding their products and suppliers. As customer expectations grow for faster and more comprehensive data, your work will be crucial in presenting the most valuable insights in a user-friendly format.

​​​​​Key Responsibilities:

• Collaboration with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with the BI team to ensure dashboards are built accurately and effectively. Collaborate with the expertise team and FSS operations to ensure the data is relevant, accurate, and presented in a timely manner.
• Dashboard Development & Enhancement: Develop and continuously improve dashboards that present key metrics for our clients, such as:
  • Number of outlier results per analysis type
  • Supplier data (number of samples, number of deviations)
  • Benchmark data (how does the client compare to industry benchmarks)
  • TAT (Turnaround Time)
  • Number of complaints
• Data Optimization and Presentation: Ensure data is presented in a customer-centric, easy-to-understand way, leveraging the full potential of Power BI.
• Data Integration & Streamlining: Although much of the necessary data is already available in Power BI, you will work on further optimizing data integration and streamlining data flows to improve the user experience.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Higher professional (HBO) or academic (WO) level of thinking and working
• Proven experience with Power BI and developing dashboards
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate large volumes of data into clear, actionable insights
• Experience working in cross-functional teams, particularly with BI, operations, and expertise teams
• Knowledge of data integration and optimizing data flows
• Excellent communication skills to effectively present complex information to various stakeholders
