We are looking for an experienced Billing Coordinator that tiptoes along the lines of bookkeeping to join our team! Shop Fix Academy has several sub-entities, allowing you the opportunity to grow your skills and knowledge in various areas. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):- Serve as the main point of contact for members, addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues or concerns.
- Communicate with members via email and phone regarding billing questions, payment updates, account changes, subscription updates and status, etc.
- Process credit card chargebacks applicable to the clients’ membership.
- Communicate via email with vendors in regard to conference sponsorships.
- Contact members regarding past due payments.
- Updating accounts receivables (sponsorships and subscriptions)
- Streamline communications between Controller and Shop Fix Leadership.
- Ability to take on additional responsibility.
- Assist the Controller when necessary.
- Collaborate with departments to gather necessary documentation.
- Have an "All Hand On Deck" mindset! We work together as a team and don't hesitate to help in other areas.
Education and/or Experience:- 5 or more years of experience in a related role
- Proven experience working with and building professional relationships with members
- Keen attention to detail and accuracy is a must
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively
- Capable of managing a large workload in a fast paced environment
- Excellent phone etiquette and strong communication skills
- Ability to analyze data and identify trends, patterns, and / or discrepancies
- Proficient with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with is QuickBooks is highly preferred
- Experience with Stripe, ChargeOver, WordPress, Authorize.Net, and Basecamp preferred
