Overview
FlyBy Ads is on a mission to help the world’s largest brands stand out. With a proven track record of executing large-scale airport rooftop advertising campaigns for industry giants like Amazon, Netflix, Disney, and Anheuser-Busch, we are looking for a high-performing Director of Sales to drive revenue growth and solidify our position in the advertising industry.
This role is ideal for an entrepreneurial, results-driven sales leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. You will be responsible for leading our sales efforts in one or more particular industry verticals, building strong client relationships, and generating a minimum of $2M in contracted revenue annually. This is a full-ownership role, meaning you will take complete responsibility for the entire sales process inside one or more verticals—from prospecting to closing deals—while proactively improving sales strategies, processes, and client experiences.
We will be hiring 2-4 individuals for this role, separated by industry verticals. This will instill proper collaboration while also maintaining the proper amount of friendly competition critical for success.
Responsibilities
- Revenue Generation: Drive a minimum of $2M in new contracted revenue in 2025 and maintain at least $2M annually beyond 2026.
- Client Acquisition & Retention: Develop and nurture relationships with enterprise-level clients, ensuring a minimum 20% repurchase rate.
- Sales Process Ownership: Take full ownership of the prospecting and sales pipeline, including lead generation, outreach, negotiations, and closing deals.
- Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and implement scalable sales systems and processes to improve efficiency and maximize revenue growth.
- Playbook Maintenance: Maintain a fully up-to-date sales playbook, ensuring it reflects the latest processes and strategies, and submit it for monthly review.
- Proactive Leadership: Identify opportunities to improve sales, client fulfillment, and product offerings. Present strategic recommendations to leadership.
- Tech Utilization: Leverage digital tools such as Loom, G-Suite, Zoom, and CRM platforms to enhance sales productivity and client engagement.
- Collaboration & Reporting: Work closely with the executive team to align sales strategies with company objectives and provide regular progress updates.
Experience & Expertise:
- Minimum 2 years of enterprise B2B sales experience (media sales preferred, but not required), specifically targeting large organizations.
- Proven track record of exceeding revenue targets and building strong client relationships.

Compensation
- ON-TRACK EARNINGS: $325,000 (if you hit proper, attainable, sales benchmarks)
- This is a commission-only role with contingency equity in the company (hit a certain sales threshold and equity stake will trigger). There is no base salary. This is purposeful, as it will help to self-identify those with the character and confidence in their own skills we are looking for. Ultimately, we are looking to find someone who enjoys the notion of becoming a true equity-partner in a company they are involved in, and reaping the benefits that come with taking a risk.
- As part of the interview process, you will be in charge of presenting your own proposed compensation structure to the current FlyBy Ads team (yes, we are aware this is unusual...and that is very purposeful).
