Givens Gerber Park is looking for a full-time housekeeper to support their independent living apartment units. The primary purpose of your position is to provide housekeeping services to the residents and team members for Givens Gerber Park, to maintain the appearance of the campus so that it is presentable at all times, and to assure that the highest degree of quality care can be provided to our residents at all times. The schedule for this position would be Monday through Friday, 8:30am - 5pm. 

What you'll do:

• Responsible for taking trash from trash rooms to dumpsters and keeping the dumpster are tidy
• Pick up trash on grounds weekly
• Assist in completing maintenance work orders as needed
• Assist with preventative maintenance such as but not limited to filter changes and battery replacement in smoke alarms
• Keep equipment and storage areas clean and neat, report and equipment problems to Community Manager promptly
• Supply and restock housekeeping carts on a daily basis
• Assist with daily laundry duties
• Perform any other duties and/or tasks that may be assigned on an as-needed basis by an authorized supervisor

What you'll need:

• Six months previous experience in related position is preferred
• Must possess knowledge of general housekeeping procedures
• High School or GED equivalent is preferred

Compensation is $18.00 - $19.00 per hour, based on background and experience, and includes our comprehensive benefits package!
