Summary
The Women’s Center Case Manager II supports women in immediate need of housing, basic items, food, health services, and other resources due to homelessness, gender-based violence, and trauma. The Case Manager II provides counseling to women seeking recovery from substance use issues, engaging in activities that promote stabilization and well-being.
This role involves assessing applicants, developing service plans with SMART goals, and maintaining thorough documentation, including assessments, service plans, and progress notes. The Case Manager II facilitates recovery groups, workshops, and psychoeducation sessions to enhance clients’ self-sufficiency and growth mindset.
Work is primarily onsite and in the field, including community engagement. Regular hours are Monday through Friday, 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with occasional evening, weekend, or early morning work as needed.

Work Environment:
GLIDE’s buildings are in the Tenderloin neighborhood. GLIDE maintains an "open door" policy for the community and its clients, who frequently enter and leave the building.
