Senior (Technical) Product Manager

We are seeking a Senior Product Manager to drive the strategic vision and execution of our Core module, which forms the foundation of our Cloud platform. This role is pivotal in shaping and evolving our core product module and services  — including multitenancy, metadata management, authentication and authorization, and ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) — in alignment with our company vision and customer needs.

The ideal candidate will have a technical background, engineering collaboration skills, and a solid understanding of modern software architectures to effectively collaborate with our customers and technical teams and influence product direction.

What Will You Do?

We expect you to do the standard Product Management job: communicate with stakeholders, prepare the roadmap and scope individual features, and actively collaborate on feature propagation. We also expect you to be a strong partner for engineering—helping and challenging architects during the design phase and actively supporting teams during the delivery phase to ensure successful execution. In more detail you will:

  • Champion Customer Needs: Engage with customers to understand their challenges in metadata management, authentication, and authorization, translating insights into impactful product improvements.

  • Drive the Product Roadmap: Define and prioritize quarterly roadmap to align customer needs, business goals, and technical feasibility, ensuring seamless integration with the broader GoodData platform.

  • Own Core Services Development: Lead the evolution of metadata, authentication, and authorization services, ensuring scalability, security, and compliance with SLAs.

  • Partner with Engineering: Collaborate with architects and development teams to influence design decisions and support smooth feature delivery, balancing technical excellence with customer impact.

  • Ensure Compliance and Reliability: Define and monitor KPIs to meet SLA commitments, improve platform resilience, and stay ahead of security and compliance requirements.

Who You Are?

We are looking for someone with the right mix of technical acumen, leadership, and communication skills, who is passionate about delivering high-quality B2B platform solutions.

  • Experienced PM who enjoys solving technical challenges associated with building B2B platforms, or an Architect/Team Lead who loves engaging with customers and driving product direction.

  • Confident in taking responsibility and making decisions, even when faced with ambiguity.

  • Excellent communicator—able to clearly articulate both business and  technical concepts to stakeholders, customers, and engineering teams.

  • Comfortable working in cross-functional teams, collaborating with developers, architects, and business leaders to drive successful outcomes.

Qualifications & Experience:

Must-Have

  • 3+ years of product management experience in SaaS, cloud platforms, or enterprise software, with a focus on core infrastructure or platform services.

  • Experience closely working with engineering teams - no matter the methodology, you have to be able to make things happen.

  • Solid understanding of B2B enterprise platforms, with a focus on scalability, performance, and compliance requirements.

Should-Have

  • Familiarity with cloud-native architectures (AWS, GCP, Azure) and modern development practices (CI/CD, DevOps).

  • Strong technical knowledge of modern software architectures, including APIs, microservices, authentication frameworks, and metadata management.

  • Knowledge of BI and analytics platforms, including semantic layers and computation engines.

  • Previous experience as a software architect, engineering manager, or technical lead.
