Sounds great, what will I be doing? šŸ¤”

As our Accounts Payable Assistant, youā€™ll be responsible for the day-to-day accounts payable operations of the UK companies of GWI Group, manage invoice billing, complete month-end tasks, liaise with vendors for queries, perform payment runs and bank reconciliations.

Itā€™s also fun; shaking things up is what working for a growing company is all about. So youā€™ll need to be flexible, comfortable with continuous change, and working in a high-tempo environment as we grow.

What do I need to bring with me? šŸ§³

Youā€™ll need to be able to demonstrate the core skills this role requires. You don't have to tick all the boxes right away; the important thing is that youā€™re willing to learn. Hereā€™s what the team will be looking for:

šŸ‘‰ Minimum 3 years of experience in a purchase ledger accounting role
šŸ‘‰ Strong understanding of accounting principles and double-entry bookkeeping
šŸ‘‰ Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUPs). Working knowledge of SAP Business One, Procurify would be advantageous
šŸ‘‰ Understanding of VAT and invoice processing
šŸ‘‰ Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to meet deadlines and manage tasks
