Job Overview & Purpose 

The Inside Operations Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for implementing and maintaining all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) surrounding internal warehouse production and operations. This role includes oversight of safety, team management, inventory forecasting, pull/prep/load processes, machine and facility maintenance, and close collaboration with regional and national event production teams.

Key Responsibilities & Duties 

Primary Responsibilities 

  • Primary Responsibilities
    • Hold morning kick-off meetings with the team, encouraging feedback and open communication.
    • Ensure that all tasks outlined in the JOB PULL PRINT CHECKLIST are completed according to current SOPs.
    • Oversee loading processes, ensuring SOP compliance, proper checks and balances, and accurate manifest management.
    • Maintain safety protocols for loads, job site unloading/reloading, and overall branch operations.
    • Address shortages promptly, collaborating with the team to meet deadlines.
    • Manage and oversee efficient operations of carpet, drape, skirt, system, and décor in branch.
    • Communicate directly with account team members (selling or producing account executives) and other stakeholders on branch-assigned shows, ensuring timely information flow and escalating issues when necessary.
    • Run production reports for production managers if they are on the road and require remote assistance.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Ensure all branch machines are properly maintained and operating cost-effectively.
    • Oversee inventory organization, ensuring items are labeled and only fast-moving inventory is stored on the warehouse floor.
    • Maintain warehouse climate control, ensuring temperatures are regulated efficiently.
    • Ensure all lighting (interior warehouse, offices, and exterior building lights) is functional.
    • Enforce safety standards for docks, inventory storage, and warehouse operations.
    • Follow branch close-up checklist daily when shutting down operations.
    • Complete and submit next day’s task sheet on Google Docs by 4 PM and coordinate daily schedules for warehouse personnel.
    • Print PM checklist paperwork for foremen and show sites as needed.
    • Oversee load lists for branch-assigned events, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
    • Participate in branch and national production meetings, providing operational updates.
    • Maintain a clean and organized shop daily.
    • Foster clear, proactive communication via email and verbal interactions while mentoring and learning each day.
    • Maintain a problem-solving mindset, ensuring customer success in every event.
    • Build a competent and cohesive team, empowering employees to develop leadership skills.
    • Treat all team members with trust and respect, valuing the unique skillsets they bring to Heritage.

Work Environment & Physical Demands 

This position is full-time and in-person, requiring daily on-site supervision of warehouse operations. Exposure to warehouse environments, equipment operation, and fluctuating temperatures.

Frequent sitting, standing, walking, typing, grasping, and repetitive hand motion exposure to warehouse environments, equipment operation, and fluctuating temperatures. Occasional bending, reaching, twisting, carrying, pushing, pulling, and lifting of up to 25 lbs,

Required:

  • 3-5 years experience in tradeshow warehouse operations, logistics, or tradeshow production.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to oversee teams and enforce SOP compliance.
  • Proficiency in:
    • Boomer Software (Production & Logistics)
    • Microsoft Excel (Data Management & Scheduling)
    • Google Docs (Collaboration & Reporting)
    • Microsoft Word (Documentation & Reports)
    • Microsoft Outlook (Email & Scheduling)
    • Updating Production Calendar
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to proactively identify and resolve operational challenges.
  • Strong communication and mentorship skills.

Preferred:

  • Background in inventory control, equipment maintenance, and labor scheduling.
