Social Media Manager

Full time - Independent Contractor

Salary Range: 1500 - 1800 AUD/ month

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement tailored social media strategies for each business, aligning with brand goals and voice.
• Create, curate, and schedule compelling content (graphics, captions, reels, stories, etc.).
• Monitor social media accounts, respond to messages/comments, and foster community engagement.
• Track and analyze performance metrics to optimize content and campaigns.
• Collaborate with business owners to understand marketing goals and create relevant content calendars.
• Manage and allocate social media advertising budgets for each business, ensuring effective spend.
• Stay up to date with trends, platform updates, and best practices in social media.

• Proven experience managing multiple social media accounts (preferably for small businesses).
• Strong understanding of content creation, audience targeting, and social media strategy.
• Familiarity with Meta (Facebook & Instagram), TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
• Knowledge of budgeting for paid ads and boosting content.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Nice to Have:

• Basic graphic design (Canva, Adobe tools, etc.)
• Experience with scheduling tools like Buffer, Hootsuite, or Later.
• Content writing or blog experience.
