Job Description

The Paid Advertising Specialist is responsible for planning, executing, and optimising targeted advertising campaigns across platforms such as LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads, and other digital channels to drive high-quality leads to maximize ROI. You will work with in-house specialist, local and regional marketers and our agency partners implementing account-based marketing (ABM) practices, deliver and measure paid advertising.

Tasks include but are not limited to:

  • Executing and managing Paid campaigns across display, search, social, and video advertising platforms to target key geographical markets effectively
  • Collaborating with global agencies to ensure the success of our advertising initiatives
  • Advising local and regional marketing teams on the ideal channel mix to engage IFS’s target audience and meet campaign objectives
  • Optimising campaign landing pages and CTAs for maximum performance and conversion rates
  • Defining and segmenting audiences using data from our CRM, intent tools, and propensity models to refine targeting strategies
  • Managing budgets efficiently and bids to improve CPA, CPL and click-through rates (CTR)
  • Running A/B tests on ad copy, calls-to-action (CTAs), and landing pages to enhance overall campaign effectiveness
  • Leveraging analytics tools to track performance, identify trends, and provide detailed reporting to key stakeholders
  • Aligning with cross-functional teams to ensure campaigns contribute to the broader marketing and business objectives of IFS.
  • Working closely with European colleagues across 'One Europe' region to deliver paid advertising

Qualifications

Qualifications and experience

  • Expertise in major advertising platforms such as Google Ads, LinkedIn Advertising, and a range of Demand-Side Platforms (DSPs), with a proven history of delivering high-performing campaigns
  • In-depth knowledge of tracking and tagging, including advanced conversion tracking, Google Tag Manager (GTM), UTM parameters, and pixel implementation to ensure comprehensive performance insights
  • Proven history with enterprise-level marketing automation tools like Marketo and CRM platforms to drive seamless campaign execution and lead management
  • Skilled in advanced marketing data analysis and reporting, delivering actionable insights that guide strategic decision-making
  • Proficient in analytics and business intelligence tools such as Google Analytics, Power BI, and Excel for data visualization and reporting
  • Exceptional problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues in underperforming campaigns effectively
  • Strong understanding of forecasting, financial management, and stakeholder engagement, ensuring transparency and alignment with organizational goals
  • Strategic mindset with expertise in planning, executing, and optimizing integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels
  • Excellent project and time management skills, with history of using tools such as Asana, Jira, Trello, or similar platforms to manage complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives.

 

Essential skills

  • Proven history in managing Paid campaigns across various platforms with a focus on achieving measurable results for B2B audiences
  • History in the software or technology sector, especially with enterprise solutions, to better understand the unique trials and opportunities in these markets
  • Staying current with emerging trends, platform updates, and best practices in digital advertising to maintain a competitive edge
  • Proficiency in English for crafting persuasive ad copy, clear reporting, and professional communication with stakeholders. An additional European language an advantage
  • Comfortable working under pressure in dynamic environments while maintaining attention to detail and quality of output
  • Poise in presenting strategies, insights, and results to executives, with the ability to tailor messaging for decision-makers
  • Comfortable challenging assumptions and offering data-backed opinions to drive better strategies and outcomes
  • Skilled in prioritizing tasks, managing multiple campaigns, and steering cross-functional collaboration to achieve objectives
  • Self-motivated with a hands-on approach to identifying and resolving issues while optimizing campaign performance
  • Interest in leveraging AI to enhance digital marketing strategies, with a strong understanding of its ethical use to ensure responsible application
  • Awareness of the ethical considerations in marketing and a commitment to using tools and strategies responsibly in the B2B landscape
