The Manager, Social Media is a member of the Channel Platforms & Content Optimizationteam within AbbVie’s US Commercial Digital Lab and supports delivery of social media projects across US Commercial brands.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Social Media, the Manager has responsibility for Consumer and HCP brand team social initiatives including platform strategy, new channel launches, best practices, agency support and organic publishing capabilities. This role coordinates across cross-functional teams, technology teams and agency partners to align and execute on projects. The team fulfills the role of social subject matter expert and internal point of contact to operationalize projects, collate best practices and align strategy and objectives to the patient journey.
This role will be a working member of AbbVie’s Digital Lab, driving capability enablement to fulfill and execute on social media strategies as part of the omni-channel plan. The Manager will support management of the enterprise platform and processes to execute organic and coordinate paid implementation with other channel specialists.
In addition to the above-mentioned responsibilities, the Manager will support and oversee iterative creative work to social media channel and content submissions and the Material Review Process, requiring knowledge of design best practices and design software.
This role will support the strategic pull through to ensure social media initiatives are driving exceptional results, with training and support to end users with focus on executing significantly reduced end to end project delivery timeframes from profile creation and content velocity to campaign completion and analysis. Also included is ownership for delivery and activation of more efficient processes including enterprise social templates, platform management and publishing tools, playbooks and best practice collation.

The compensation range described below is the range of possible base pay compensation that the Company believes in good faith it will pay for this role at the time of this posting based on the job grade for this position. Individual compensation paid within this range will depend on many factors including geographic location, and we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range.
