In this role you will contribute to our overall mission to create a better future where we authentically serve, reflect and embrace everyone. You will be part of Global Functions HR Team and will be playing an active role in the shaping of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) roadmap for IHQ. You will collaborate with many internal stakeholders, including our DE&I champions in IHQ and worldwide (more than 200 associates), and you will get to work on diverse topics. This internship can also be tailor-suited to the area in which you want to grow in.
Responsibilities
Play active role in shaping DE&I IHQ community, supporting DE&I IHQ Lead in building IHQ DE&I roadmap and execution of action plans, KPIs tracking
Driving projects embedding DE&I within Learning & Development and/or People Processes & Policies in close collaboration with the HR Team
Support with IHQ events and building communication plans around our IHQ activations (Gender balance Month, Pride Month, TrueYOU Week)
Community building (communication, engagement) for our community of Champions in IHQ
Capturing and fostering exchange of external and internal best practices

For this role as a Global DE&I Intern, we’re looking for someone who has the following skills and experience:
Studying for a Bachelors or Master’s degree for the entirety of the internship in Human Resources, Psychology, Business Administration or Marketing & Communication or any other field of education in connection with DE&I
Passionate about DE&I and making impact in a multinational fast paced environment
Ability to build strong relationship, adapt communication styles and bring structure
Excellent communicator (written, spoken and visual), fluency in English, a self-starter, have great analytical capabilities, an eye for details).
Experienced user of MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
Organized, structured to deliver
Commitment: You are ready to dedicate at least 5 months to this internship, preferably from 3rd February to August.
Availability: You can join the internship for 4 or 5 days per week, including three days in-office and one or two days remotely, ensuring an ideal balance between collaboration and independence.
Important: To be considered as a candidate for this internship,
EU/EEA students: you need to be enrolled at a University for the whole duration of the internship and this needs to be a mandatory part of your study curriculum. In case of voluntarily internship purpose, a tri-parties agreement may be requested to be signed by you and your university.
Your educational institution is willing to sign a collaboration agreement with JDE Peet's and when joining our Research departments, also sign an NDA agreement for internships.
Non-EU/EEA students: you need to be enrolled at a Dutch University and your university needs to sign the Nuffic Agreement. The internship needs to be a compulsory part of your studies (eg, receive ECTS in turn).
