Job Description

We have a seed-stage start-up that is looking for a founding recruiter. This position is remote and a three-month contract that could be extended. You are able to do it while working on other projects as well. You will be working on biz ops reqs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies aligned with the startup's growth objectives
  • Lead the end-to-end recruitment process for business operations roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer negotiation
  • Collaborate with founders and leadership team to understand hiring needs and create accurate job descriptions
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates through various sourcing channels
  • Conduct initial screenings and coordinate interviews with hiring managers
  • Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) and ensure all candidate data is accurately maintained
  • Provide regular updates to stakeholders on recruitment progress and key metrics
  • Develop and implement employer branding initiatives to attract top talent
  • Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process

Qualifications

  • Experience as a founding recruiter
  • Experience hiring for head of roles
  • 4+ years of experience as a recruiter
  • Strong understanding of startup environments and culture
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Experience in developing and implementing recruitment strategies
  • Proven track record of successful placements in business operations roles
