Job Description

Our Marketing Analyst program mission is to accelerate the development of Early Career Marketing professionals through exposure to a multitude of assignments, apprenticeship style learning, and accelerated responsibility. We are looking for driven and tenacious team members who have the desire and potential to rise over time into a significant contributor within the team and our broader direct-to-consumer lifestyle business. 

As a full time Analyst, this program will offer employees the opportunity to work on multiple functions within our Growth and Member Experience teams. After approximately 2 years, team members will be placed in a more specialized role based on performance, strengths, and interests demonstrated over the previous years. 

Success in this program will be achieved by approaching work with the following characteristics:

  • Being a Good Learner: Receives feedback well and incorporates it to improve

What You’ll Do…

You will be given 2 - 3 of any of the following functional areas, roughly every 6-9 months, based on the needs of the business. 

  • Member Experience Program Management: Coordinate tasks for large Member Experience campaigns, including but not limited to: Annual Reading Challenge, & Book of the Year, and gifting outreach. 
  • Managing Ads & Leads Emails: Build, proof, and report on deliverables for campaigns across paid social, email, and other digital marketing channels. Learn the drivers of ad performance; execute new channels and propose adjustments to budget, targeting, and creative to improve conversion of our ads. 
  • Churn, LTV & Rejoins: Compile and synthesize member cycle performance and campaign data across platforms. Run tests and analyze results for various LTV, Rejoin, and Churn improvement initiatives.
  • Member Insights & Member Emails: Monitor social media platforms, build and send surveys, and work with the CX team to continuously gather and report on member insights. 
  • Influencer Program Management: Coordinate our existing influencers program on a monthly basis. Over time, analyze performance of influencers & propose changes to enhance effectiveness.
  • Media Buys & Partnerships: Execute on various media buys/partnerships, and report on their performance. Identify and pitch new customer acquisition opportunities in the form of new channels, brand partnerships, media buys, or other activations that generate incremental enrolls.

Qualifications

What You Should Have...

  • 0-3 years of related work experience in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Intellectual interest and potential in the following:
    • Digital Marketing as a profession
    • Creative Selling + Messaging
    • D2C/Subscription business
  • Strong work ethic; ability to learn quickly, take on new challenges, and apply feedback 
  • Commercial aptitude: ability to think of unique campaign/selling ideas
  • Deep understanding of our subscription product and member
  • Advanced Excel abilities
  • Ability to read, interpret, and analyze data well 
  • A desire to learn quickly and grow over time 
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Strong history of academic and/or extracurricular excellence
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Grit and perseverance in the face of challenges
  • Ability to communicate ambiguous problems directly and clearly
