Data Specialist

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Specialist to manage, analyze, and maintain our data systems. The ideal candidate will ensure data accuracy, integrity, and security while supporting business decisions with insightful analysis. You will work closely with various teams to optimize data collection, processing, and reporting.

• Collect, clean, and validate data from various sources to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Develop and maintain databases, ensuring efficient storage and retrieval of data.
• Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support business strategies.
• Create dashboards, reports, and visualizations for stakeholders using BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
• Ensure data security and compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with IT and business teams to improve data processes and workflows.
• Support data migration, integration, and transformation initiatives.
• Troubleshoot data-related issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Document data management processes, standards, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.
• 5 years of experience in data management.
• Completed the DAMA Professional Data Management Course.
• Experience in data management and data analysis.
• Experience in data management office specifications and controls.
• Project management experience and knowledge preferred.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to assess compliance and prepare required reports.

Preferred Skills:

• Proficiency in SQL, Python, R, or other data analysis tools.
• Experience with database management systems (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) is a plus.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Excel).
