AP Vendor Master Data Specialyst

Keywords is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Vendor Master Data Specialist/Analyst to join our growing team. This critical role is responsible for the accurate and efficient creation, maintenance, and governance of vendor master data within our ERP system (Netsuite Oracle) The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of vendor master data processes, data integrity principles, and excellent communication skills.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Create, maintain, and update vendor master data records, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and consistency across all relevant systems.
  • Validate vendor information, including legal name, address, tax identification number, banking details, and other relevant data points.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g HR,production,) to gather necessary vendor information and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Perform data quality checks and cleansing activities to identify and correct data errors and inconsistencies.
  • Implement and enforce data governance policies and procedures related to vendor master data.
  • Support internal and external audits related to vendor master data.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to vendor master data processes and procedures.
  • Provide training and support to end-users on vendor master data related processes.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to optimize vendor master data processes and enhance data quality.

Technical Skills

  • Proven experience (e.g., 1-3 years) in vendor master data management or a related role.
  • Strong understanding of ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.) and vendor master data modules.
  • Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices.
  • Excellent data entry and analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills.
  • Abity to work independently and as part of a team.  
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.  
  • Experience with data cleansing and validation tools is a plus
