Showroom Assistant

Capozza Floor Covering Center, a three- generation family- owned flooring company based in Portland, Maine has an exciting opportunity for a full- time Showroom Assistant to be the welcoming face of the showroom and a key part of the team!

As our Showroom Assistant, you will play a critical role in providing a toptier experience for homeowners, contractors, and designers while supporting our sales and operations teams

• Compensation starting at $22.00 per hour commensurate with experience 

• High school diploma or GED 
• A highly organized professional with exceptional customer service experience 
• Ability to succeed in a fast paced environment 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently–calls, customers, and administrative duties  
• Tech-savvy mindset – Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and ability to learn new systems. 
• Professionalism & reliability – Punctuality and dependability are key in this role. 
• A passion for great service – Whether assisting a homeowner or a contractor, you ensure every interaction is positive and professional 

• Welcoming clients and guiding them through our showroom experience. 
• Engaging with customers on their projects and collecting initial intake data 
• Managing incoming calls and directing inquiries to the appropriate department. 
• Responding to website inquiries 
• Coordinating and processing showroom and in-field appointments. 
• Assisting the Residential and Commercial Sales Teams with administrative support. 
• Processing packing slips and managing incoming mail. 
• Supporting corporate administrative functions as needed.
