Manager Proposition Marketing

Our overall objective: making dairy farming interesting, also for the coming generations. 

Together with your team of Marketing professionals, you are responsible for the creation, coordination and successful proposition of all Lely solutions and services. Your team directly interacts with various business teams and marketers around the globe. The business team determines the strategy and counts on the Marketing input of your team in this. This should also translate into a (performance driven) marketing plan to support local marketing specialists with resources and knowledge for local execution. This can include supporting a launch campaign, defining the proposition of a Lely solution, an activation campaign to increase market share, and much more. Collaboration with the various countries and supporting everyone to maximize the local market is crucial. Together with your team you ensure that local marketers have sufficient knowledge and resources to be a successful marketing machine within their region. In total, you have a team of approximately 8 people. Safeguarding and ensuring Brand consistency within a complex stakeholder field and global context is essential in this role. 

 Your expertise comes from marketing, where you understand that marketing is not just a launch or activation. You have a good understanding on product/proposition marketing and understand the basics of Marketing not only on promotional aspects. 

Your team deals with various stakeholders such as commercial responsible from the business teams. In this role you report to the Head of Marketing within Lely International. 

Key responsibilities: 

• Marketing Strategy & Processes: this includes translating product innovations, market insights and sales requirements into an integrated marketing approach. 

• Global Marketing planning: coordinating and overseeing the global marketing plan. 

• Coaching, organization and (continuous) development of the marketing and creative studio team, based on expertise and value creation.  

• Project management of medium - large Marketing projects 

We are looking for a proactive and result-oriented demonstrated people manager with a passion for international marketing who wants to contribute to a sustainable, profitable and enjoyable future in farming. Further: 

• Proven experience in international (B2B & B2C) marketing roles within a matrix organization and a minimum of 5 years' experience with managing, coaching & developing teams.  

• Experience with successfully overseeing projects in complex, multidisciplinary environments. 

• Outstanding stakeholder management skills. 

• Excellent communication and presentation skills. 

• Currently living in the Netherlands with fluency in English. 

• Working in an international environment at one of the most innovative organizations in the Netherlands; 

• Working at the modern Lely Campus in Maassluis; 

• Excellent working conditions, including 27 vacation days & 13 scheduled days off; 

• A salary scale ranging from 6300 to 8000 euros gross per month based on knowledge and experience, with an additional 8% holiday allowance.
