About the Position:
The PPL & Traditional Media Buyer will be responsible for planning, negotiating, and executing media buys across traditional channels—including television, radio, print, and out-of-home—while also managing PPL partnerships. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, deep knowledge of media vendor negotiations, and the ability to integrate traditional and digital media strategies for maximum impact. The PPL & Traditional Media Buyer will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure campaigns align with business goals and drive measurable success. The salary range for this position is $55,000 - $80,000 / year depending on experience.

Your Impact:
- Media Buying & Negotiation: You’ll research and identify opportunities across TV, radio, print, and OOH media, negotiating placements and rates to secure the best value for clients. You’ll build and maintain strong vendor relationships, staying up-to-date on emerging media channels and pricing structures.
- Pay-Per-Lead (PPL) Management: You’ll source, negotiate, and manage PPL partnerships, ensuring contract terms and lead-quality expectations are met. You’ll analyze lead volume, cost-per-lead, and conversion metrics to continuously optimize performance and maximize ROI.
- Cross-Channel Integration: You’ll collaborate with digital media teams to align traditional and digital strategies, ensuring a seamless, multi-channel approach. You’ll help maintain consistent messaging, creative cohesion, and unified reporting across all platforms.
- Performance Optimization: You’ll monitor and report on media performance against KPIs such as CPL, CPA, and brand lift, using data insights to refine strategies. You’ll provide recommendations for campaign adjustments to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Budget & Compliance: You’ll oversee media budgets, ensuring accurate invoice reconciliation and financial tracking. You’ll maintain compliance with contractual obligations, regulatory guidelines, and brand standards to mitigate risk.

- 3+ years of experience in media buying or planning, with a strong focus on traditional media (TV, radio, print, out-of-home) and Pay-Per-Lead (PPL) partnerships.
- Experience negotiating, securing, and optimizing media placements is essential.
- Familiarity with Pay-Per-Lead models, including contract structuring, lead tracking, cost-per-lead optimization, and performance-based media strategies.
- Ability to analyze lead quality and drive profitable outcomes.
- Strong ability to interpret data and media performance metrics (CPL, CPA, brand lift, etc.) to inform strategy and optimize campaigns.
- Experience in budget management and financial tracking.
- Proven experience working alongside digital media teams to develop integrated strategies across traditional and digital platforms.
- Strong understanding of how offline media interacts with digital channels for maximum impact.
- Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favorable media rates and building relationships with vendors.
- Ability to manage contracts, invoices, and campaign requirements while ensuring compliance with regulatory guidelines, industry standards, and brand requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, shifting deadlines, and competing priorities while maintaining a high standard of execution.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate media insights into clear, actionable reports for internal teams and clients.
