We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Certification Program Manager to join our Customer Education team. As a Certification Program Manager, you will be responsible for developing and managing our certification program, ensuring its alignment with industry standards and best practices. Your expertise in program management, instructional design, and customer education will play a crucial role in driving the success of our certification initiatives.
Responsibilities- Develop and manage a comprehensive certification program for our customers, including defining certification levels, requirements, and learning pathways.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders to identify key competencies and knowledge areas for certification, ensuring alignment with industry standards and best practices.
- Design and develop certification exams, assessment criteria, and supporting materials, such as study guides and practice tests, to evaluate candidates' knowledge and skills.
- Establish and maintain certification program policies, procedures, and guidelines, ensuring fairness, integrity, and consistency throughout the certification process.
- Collaborate with the Learning Experience Designers to create engaging and effective learning materials and resources that support the certification program.
- Establish and maintain relationships with external certification bodies and industry associations to stay updated on industry trends and standards and ensure the program's alignment with industry requirements.
- Develop and implement a certification marketing strategy to promote the value of our certification program to customers, partners, and other stakeholders.
- Manage the certification candidate experience, including registration, scheduling, exam administration, and result reporting, ensuring a smooth and seamless process for candidates.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as Sales, Marketing, and Product Development, to integrate the certification program into our overall customer education strategy and align it with product updates and releases.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the certification program, gathering feedback from candidates, trainers, and other stakeholders, and implementing improvements and enhancements as needed.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Business, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Certification Program Manager or similar role, managing certification programs and processes.
- Strong knowledge of program management principles, instructional design methodologies, and adult learning principles.
- Familiarity with industry certification standards and best practices, and experience aligning certification programs with industry requirements.
- Experience in designing and developing certification exams, assessments, and supporting materials.
- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions to improve the certification program.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build relationships with external partners.
- Proficiency in learning management systems and other relevant technologies for managing certification programs.
- Experience in the technology industry or working with software products is a plus.
