This role is perfect for a visionary consultant who is passionate about the science of selling and a recognized authority at driving performance improvement and organizational transformation. We are looking for a Senior Sales Performance Consultant to partner with our LinkedIn Talent Solutions (LTS) Global Clients Program (GCP) Sales leaders around the world and collaborate closely with cross-functional partners and our global GTM Enablement team to deliver transformational behavior change initiatives that lead to improved business results.
As a Senior Sales Performance Consultant, you are responsible for recommendations and execution that improve sales strategy, processes, and performance. You are highly attuned to the Sales organization’s strategy and goals, acting as extension of its leadership team and partnering with Sales leaders to provide proactive recommendations that help grow the business.
You will leverage advanced qualitative and quantitative analyses to uncover and address critical sales blockers, skills deficiencies, and technology gaps, thereby unlocking the full potential of the sales team. Your extensive sales and business acumen will enable you to conduct thorough evaluations of existing sales strategies, identify business critical sales process, skills and technology gaps and devise strategic plans that significantly enhance seller performance by increasing win rates and optimizing time efficiency. You will design and implement tailored solutions, delivering transformative learning experiences and change management strategies that drive measurable results that drive substantial, measurable business outcomes. Through your deep understanding of sales through consistent, direct observation of sellers and sales calls, you will also act as the voice of the field providing input into global Enablement priorities and initiatives. You will mentor and empower sales leaders and representatives by catalyzing significant improvements in their overall performance.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as GTM Enablement business partner to the global VP Sales and regional Senior Directors in LTS GCP. You will also partner with a highly matrixed cross-functional organization to identify critical business needs and gaps and develop and collaborate on strategic plans that drive significant business impact.
Perform rigorous data-driven analysis through direct observation and advanced qualitative and quantitative methods to uncover critical knowledge, skills, technology, and operational process gaps.
Design and execute a comprehensive and scaled enablement strategy that drives measurable behavior change and business results.
Measure effectiveness and ROI of initiatives in partnership with Sales Operations and influence sales leaders to hold their teams accountable for achieving operational metrics. Utilize feedback loops to inform and refine reinforcement tactics, further supporting behavior change in partnership with Sales and other teams.
Collaborate with multiple senior cross-functional stakeholders and build strong coalitions of executive sponsors to drive strategic initiatives.
Demonstrate mastery of adult learning principles to design effective and engaging training experiences
Leverage your sales expertise and business acumen to shape enablement strategy, drive innovation, and mentor junior ICs across GTM Enablement
Provide expert coaching to sales leaders and reps, significantly improving their performance
Utilize cutting-edge enablement technology to monitor knowledge and skill gaps, surface wins and drive learning reinforcement (e.g., GONG, AI, etc.)
Drive change management efforts by securing alignment, buy-in, and sponsorship from key stakeholder and cross-functional teams. Deliver exceptional enablement and change management strategies that ensure sustainable, long-term behavior change
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
10+ years combined of sales, sales operations, change management, sales enablement or consulting experience
Bachelor's degree in business, economics, marketing, communications, engineering, product management, education or other related fields.
Preferred Qualifications
8+ years of quota-carrying sales experience
Coaching certification or 2+ years managing a sales team
Master’s degree in business, marketing, education or other related fields
Executive communications skills with proven track record of influencing top executives (VP+) and aligning groups of senior stakeholders, even without formal authority. Articulates vision and strategy driving consensus and commitment at the highest levels.
Expertise in navigating complex, matrixed, and fast-paced global organizations. You excel in partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to design and implement large-scale programs and change management initiatives that deliver transformative business outcomes.
Experience in behavior and technology change management, with an ability to lead and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
Ability to perform robust data analysis including generating sales insights
Experience with adult learning concepts and learning design concepts and tools, with demonstrated ability to build programs that are innovative and effective in driving business outcomes
Program and project management skills, with a proven ability to own and lead enablement programs from needs identification to completion. Your strategic vision and stakeholder management capabilities will drive outcomes and long-term impact.
Resourcefulness in ambiguity – ability to self-solve when faced with challenges
Analytical skills to deconstruct complex problems, identify root causes, and develop solutions that align with business priorities
Command of an audience as demonstrated by facilitation and/or public speaking experience
Fluency in ML / AI tools, specifically Sales Conversational Intelligence software, Learning Management Systems, AI Sales Enablement software, project management software, and MS Excel and PowerPoint

The pay range for this role is $169,000 to $253,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
