Reports to: Our Fitness Manager in Boston

Your Mission:

Your mission is to uphold the highest standards of hospitality for the tenants of Lulafit’s downtown Boston amenity centers. You'll be scheduled on an as-needed basis to support the operations of various locations, providing front desk support and occasionally teaching fitness classes. When subbing at one of our locations, you’ll oversee facility upkeep, fitness center memberships, and quality control to ensure a five-star experience for our tenants.

The Legacy You’ll Leave:

As a result of your time in this role, you brought daily joy to hundreds of human beings who work in downtown Boston.  You created such deep and meaningful relationships with building management teams, their tenants, and external partners that they never wanted lulafit to leave. Lastly, you supported the lulafit team in becoming a lasting fixture in downtown Boston.

What You’re Responsible For:
  • Operational Coverage: Support the operations in any of our 5 Boston locations for planned and unplanned time off. You will be contacted by our Fitness Manager with as much advanced notice as we are able to provide to be scheduled for a shift or shifts within the hours of 7am-7pm, Monday-Friday.
  • Front Desk Support: Support the operations at various locations by providing member support at the front desk. This will include: assisting with membership management, answering member questions, and giving tours of the space.
  • Five-Star Hospitality Service: Ensure members receive an exceptional experience by providing a warm welcome and departure experience. You’ll also oversee the upkeep of special touches such as our spa-style signature fruit-infused water.
  • Maintain a Pristine Facility: Keep the spaces you are working in tidy, organized, and fully operational to ensure a seamless member experience, performing checks regularly during each of your shifts. Regularly restock amenities such as towels, locker room supplies, pantry items, and/or conference room supplies.

Who You Are - Baseline Requirements:
  • You have 1+ years of experience in a hospitality or customer-facing service environment.
  • Even better if your experience has touched the corporate fitness or commercial real estate sector.
  • You are technologically savvy and are comfortable navigating multiple software platforms at the same time, like GSuite and sound systems.

Who You Are - Key Competencies:
  • Flexible and adaptable. You are comfortable working across multiple locations, sometimes two locations in the same day, to support our operations where you are needed. You can adapt quickly to new surroundings and excel at solving problems with little guidance.
  • Obsessively customer-centric.  In previous roles, you have exceeded what customers expected of you. You have an innate hospitality mindset and are happiest when you are serving others. You are energized by the opportunity to connect with hundreds of corporate tenants across Boston.
  • A reliable team player. Your past managers would refer to you as dependable and collaborative. You thrive working as part of a team and understand how your daily tasks contribute to the success of the entire operation. You come to work each day ready to “pick up an oar” and do what’s needed for your team to be successful.
  • A hyper-organized ball juggler.  You stay extremely organized and are constantly reprioritizing your own work because it’s what makes you most effective.  Everyone refers to you as a stellar multi-tasker.
  • A stellar communicator.  You are known for clearly communicating your points - whether in email or verbally.  In this role you’ll be engaging with different levels of stakeholders (office managers to C-Suite).
