Human Resources Business Partner: Your role is vital in supporting our workforce and enhancing employee experiences.

The HR Business Partner will serve as a key resource in managing various HR functions, including employee relations, policy compliance, performance management, and the overall employee lifecycle.

Key responsibilities include:

Employee Lifecycle Management:

  • Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, facilitating orientation, training, and successful integration.
  • Manage offboarding procedures, including conducting exit interviews and transitioning departing employees effectively.
  • Support internal transfers and promotions, collaborating with managers to foster career development.

Employee Relations:

  • Act as a primary contact for employee inquiries, concerns, and grievances.
  • Promote a positive work environment through effective communication and conflict resolution.

Compliance and Policy:

  • Develop, maintain, and communicate HR policies and procedures, adapting to legal and organizational changes as necessary.
  • Maintain a knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, ensuring compliance in all HR practices.

Compensation:

  • Conduct audits and assessments to monitor compliance and identify areas for improvement. 
  • Compensation: 
  • Conduct salary benchmarking and analysis to ensure market competitiveness and internal equity. 
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on compensation-related matters. 
  • Support annual compensation planning process. 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of state and federal employment regulations.
  • Familiarity with personnel and compliance records management.

Physical Requirements:

  • Sitting: Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a desk, attending virtual meetings, or performing computer-based tasks.
  • Walking: Occasional walking between departments, offices, or other locations within the building or across campus for meetings and events.
  • Standing: Ability to stand for short periods during in-person meetings, training sessions, or events.
  • Lifting: Occasional light lifting of up to 25 pounds, such as carrying office supplies or materials for presentations and meetings.
  • Travel: Ability to travel locally for meetings, site visits, or other business needs.
  • Technology Use: Proficiency in operating standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and printers, on a regular basis.
  • Visual and Auditory: Ability to read documents, review presentation materials, and participate in discussions during meetings or presentations.

Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 annually  

MacDonald-Miller Facility Solutions presently provides employee coverage for:
