Overall purpose and responsibilities of the role:

The Technical Recruiter has a strong background in technical recruitment or virtual assistant hiring for specialized roles such as software development, SEO, paid media, project management, and data analysis. This role requires expertise in end-to-end recruitment, sourcing top-tier candidates, and implementing retention strategies to ensure long-term success in remote work settings.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Talent Acquisition & Recruitment

  • Source, screen, and hire highly skilled virtual assistants for technical roles, including web development, software engineering, SEO, project management, and digital marketing.
  • Conduct comprehensive technical assessments and cultural fit interviews to ensure quality hires.
  • Utilize job boards, LinkedIn, referral networks, and industry-specific recruitment platforms to attract top talent.
  • Manage multiple job openings efficiently, hiring both remote and onsite candidates.
  • Sourcing & Candidate Engagement
  • Leverage industry tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Upwork, and OnlineJobs.ph to identify and engage with potential candidates.
  • Develop a strong pipeline of pre-vetted candidates to minimize hiring bottlenecks and fill positions quickly.
  • Build and maintain relationships with passive and active candidates for future hiring needs.
  • Onboarding & Retention
  • Ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires, setting them up for success in remote work settings.
  • Develop and implement VA hiring and retention strategies to reduce turnover and improve employee satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with leadership, operations, and VA teams to align hiring processes with business objectives.

Must-have Skills / Qualification:

  • At least 2- 3 years of experience in technical recruitment or 1 year of experience recruiting virtual assistants for specialized roles.
  • Proven expertise in end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
  • Experience in VA and Digital Marketing hiring is preferred but advantageous.
  • Proficiency in applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment platforms such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Upwork, and OnlineJobs.ph, ADP, People’s HR and Omni HR is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to manage multiple job openings and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A results-driven mindset with a focus on quality hires and reducing hiring time.

Job type: Permanent

Emp type: Full-time

Schedule:  Flexible dayshift schedule: 4 days compressed work week – Tuesday to Friday.

If 5 days work is preferred, the Monday or Saturday schedule will be remote
