About us: Marpan Supply Company has been in business in Tallahassee since 1966. For over 50 years we have been engaged in the container services business. Container Services includes leasing and providing all maintenance for garbage and recycling containers in all sizes (Front and Rear Loader, Hook-Lift and Roll-off Containers, Compactors and Balers). About this position: We are looking to add a highly organized individual to our Account Management team. This position is responsible for coordination and support of customers with roll-off containers for construction & demolition materials taken to our Recycling plant. A background in administrative customer service will provide the foundational skills to succeed in this position.
Specifically, we are looking for someone who:
- Enjoys interfacing with customers and associates over phone, email, and in-person
- Finds joy in organizing, keeping to-do lists, and setting reminders for follow-ups
- Can be depended upon to show up on time each day and roll up their sleeves
- Doesn't mind working independently, but is also willing to assist other team members as needs arise
- Is a natural problem-solver; someone who takes initiative when they notice an issue
- Likes a high tempo work environment where there is always a task available to address
- After appropriate training is content to operate with little oversight

Essential Job Responsibilities
- Manage new and existing accounts from start to finish
- Respond to requests for new accounts via phone or email, providing excellent customer service
- Promptly answer phone to address customer issues
- Create DocuSign lease paperwork with accurate information and submit to appropriate channels
- Maintain organized system of lease applications and follow up with city or customer for action needed
- Contact customers who are late on payments to facilitate the collections process
- Produce and email/mail invoices or copies of leases when requested
- Notify management of any issues that need to be addressed
- Assist with daily invoicing which is run through accounting software
- Run billing reports, confirming which clients receive digital bills versus paper
- Ensure emailed invoices go out, updating contact information as needed
- Use automated mail machine to fold paper invoices and print postage
- Handle credit card or cash payments, reconciling merchant website payments with accounting software
- Assist administration with other deposits, cash receipts, and accounts receivable as needed

- The ability to work Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 5:00pm with occasional overtime
- The ability to pass a required drug screening
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite of products, particularly Outlook and basic Excel
