Mediatech, one of Europe’s fastest-growing media houses, is seeking a skilled Senior Writer/Editor to join its latest venture. This new publication aims to rival industry leaders like CNBC, using a more data-driven approach to journalism.

• Deliver timely, daily news coverage on a diverse range of global investment topics, with a primary focus on the U.S. market and emerging global trends
• Analyze and respond quickly to the latest financial and investment reports, translating complex findings into clear, accessible language
• Identify investment patterns and produce accurate, well-researched articles on stocks, crypto, and other financial topics
• Build and maintain a robust network of information sources, including news agencies, social media, forums, and direct connections with experts
• Interview industry professionals to ensure content is well-rounded, reliable, and authoritative
• Engage with global contacts to gather news, verify facts, and uncover exclusive investment stories
• Collaborate closely with the Managing Editor, Senior Editor, and other team members to shape editorial strategy and content direction
• Stay informed about global developments in investment and finance, with future opportunities to attend and report on major industry events, conferences, and discussions

• A degree in journalism, finance, economics, political science or a related field. 
• 2+ years of experience as a journalist or writer specializing in investment or financial topics
• Experience working in a newsroom is a strong advantage
• Ability to think critically and produce analytical content that goes beyond surface-level reporting
• Deep interest and knowledge of the global investment landscape, including stocks, crypto, and market trends
• Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills in English
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for collaborating with experts and team members
• Flexibility to adapt to a fast-paced environment and work collaboratively within a team
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills, with strong attention to detail.
