The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic Email Marketing Assistant, reporting into the Senior CRM Executive to help support the Growth Marketing Team. You will be responsible for the delivery of our email marketing campaigns and manage the full end-to-end campaign execution process. This role is crucial in driving the success of our CRM channel.
Responsibilities:
Email & Text Marketing Management
- You will help plan the email marketing campaign calendar in line with the wider marketing plan.
- Own the end-to-end process of email marketing; from initial planning (briefing the copy and creative teams) to building the emails in our ESP, reviewing & scheduling for deployment.
- Continuously optimise our broadcast & automated emails improving their performance based on insights & competitors - ensuring each month is exciting and relevant for the customer.
- Support with automated flows, bringing fresh ideas and constantly seeking to optimise for best results.
- Own our text channel - from planning the content to deployment & performance analysis.
- Proactively contribute ideas across all areas of digital marketing & sharing them.
- Assist in testing promotional codes for email and text & company wide promotions.
Content Analysis & Reporting
- You will report on email performance on a daily, weekly and monthly basis, sharing crucial insights on revenue, purchase insights & other relevant KPIs.
- Create & maintain regular reports , highlighting key insights and recommendations.
- Actively participate and contribute to weekly, monthly and quarterly performance meetings, highlighting key insights and actions to take to improve email & text performance and profitability.
- Ambition for a career in Email Marketing with exceptional attention to detail.
- Knowledge of key automated campaigns & basic mechanics behind them.
- Previous experience with any ESP is beneficial.
- Communication skills, confidence when presenting with ability to build cross-functional relationships remotely.
- Quick Learner, adaptable to change and self-sufficient.
- Excellent organisational skills, capable of handling multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to take ownership of email marketing campaigns.
- Creative Thinker who can create and share content ideas.
- Strong numerical, analytical and interpretive skills, comfortable with Excel and/or Google Sheets.
