Start date: March 2025

Hybrid: Based in New York, 3 days in our offices, 2 days working from home

Reporting to: Head of Marketing

Contract type: Permanent full time (5 days a week)

Salary range: $80,000-$100,000 depending on experience

We are one of the fastest growing FMCG brands, re-writing the rules of RTD cocktails,  and having already become the #1 premium RTD brand in the UK, is on track to match this growth in the US. Our success is down to the work that our magic MOTHs do, we hire exceptional people to do exceptional things. Our team in the UK has grown to more than 40 people and, having made our first few hires in the US last year, we’re delighted to be hiring our first US based Marketing role.

The Role

We’re seeking a dynamic and creative marketeer, who is willing to get 'hands-on' and deliver activations across the full marketing mix, as we build out MOTH's US footprint. 

Reporting into MOTH's Global Head of Marketing, the US Marketing Manager will join the small but growing team in our New York office, and will play a pivotal role in shaping the development and execution of MOTH's US marketing strategy.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for the drinks industry, a creative mindset, and a track record of driving successful marketing campaigns.

Role responsibilities

PLANNING: 

  • Own the development of the US Brand Plan, working with MOTH's global marketing team and US distributors to build locally relevant brand and trade marketing plans.
  • Manage the US brand marketing budget to deliver against business and brand KPIs.

EXECUTION: 

  • Work closely with MOTHs global marketing and in-house creative teams to build and deploy the brand toolkit for US embracing best practices and championing MOTHs brand 
  • Drive brand brilliant activation in the Trade by developing appropriate Point of Sale tools and assets, and getting liquid on lips through mass Sampling programmes.
  • Lead MOTH's US PR & Comms strategy, working with local agencies where appropriate to drive word of mouth and positive coverage for the brand. 
  • Work closely with MOTHs Head of Digital, and our agency partner, to deliver our digital marketing programme. 

MANAGEMENT: 

  • Manage MOTH Brand Ambassadors in Florida and Massachusetts, Work closely Territory Sales Managers to ensure they are working in support of state level sales objectives. 

SALES SUPPORT: 

  • Build strong relationships with our US Distributors driving enablement and education programmes and creating a joined up, best practice way of working to ensure sales teams and accounts are well supported. 

INSIGHTS:

  • Analyse, track and measure the success of each campaign to create actionable learnings and optimise it accordingly. 
  • Identify new opportunities for growth and innovation, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
  • A strong understanding of ATL & BTL marketing with at a minimum of 5 years of experience building brands in the CPG and/or drinks space; with specific experience, crafting & implementing retail marketing programs.
  • Experience working with and managing beverage distributors. 
  • Detail orientated including a drive for problem-solving, innovation and results.
  • Passion for brands and cross category experience.
  • Strategic thinking with strong verbal and written presentation skills.
  • Capable of working both collaboratively with various departments and autonomously.
