Job Description

  • Serve as the primary tire contact for FCSD and MSX Market and Regional Teams, providing expert guidance and support.
  • Act as the go-to resource for the field team regarding the Ford Tire Program, ensuring seamless communication and assistance.
    • Send weekly and monthly reports to the field.
    • Address questions, comments, and concerns effectively.
    • Demonstrate expertise in TIM, TST, and TAAC tools.
    • Facilitate communication between the National Tire Specialist and field personnel.
  • As a key player, develop market-specific and regional growth strategies to significantly boost tire sales across Ford Dealers, Quick Lane, Quick Lane Express, and Lincoln Priority Express dealerships.
  • Model effective tire discussions with dealership personnel, Parts Managers, Service Managers, Quick Lane Managers, and Advisors.
    • Travel with Market PRCs and FPSs to demonstrate optimal tire conversations.
    • Assist in managing the TIM Tool.
    • Maximize the impact of program benefits through strategic discussions.
  • Analyze reports to identify market opportunities to support tire sales growth
  • Share insights with MPMs and RPCs to influence strategic decision-making and advance the tire program.
  • Work in tandem with RPCs and FPSs to capitalize on identified opportunities, fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Partner with Ford ATW, Tire Manufacturers, Tire Distributors, FCSD Regional Personnel, and Service Solutions Field Teams to ensure market success:
    • Assist with TIM setup and resets.
    • Identify and resolve inventory challenges.
    • Implement Better/Best/Good Strategies to optimize tire offerings.
    • Support the development of display, marketing, and pricing strategies to enhance tire sales performance.
  • Conduct tire training sessions for Ford and MSX field personnel, fostering expertise and confidence.
  • Drive the achievement of FCSD, Quick Lane, and QLE/LPE performance objectives, as your role in the tire program significantly contributes to these goals.
  • Support special projects that contribute to tire program success.
  • Ensure timely completion of administrative tasks and adherence to MSX project standards.
  • Tire support for Quick Lane and QLE/LPE business launch, high-impact and at-risk dealers.

Qualifications

  • OEM dealer contact experience is a plus, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • This position requires proficiency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Internet Explorer
  • Ability to leverage relationships to identify and sell the business case for change
  • Analyzing data from dealer financials and operational assessments to establish improvement action plans
  • Implementation of service advisor selling systems and overall process improvement solutions at the aftermarket or retail level
  • Ability to understand, establish and implement effective metrics to keep dealerships focused on growth and ROI
  • Demonstrated proficiency with PC applications in a Windows environment
  • Ability to train and utilize all aspects of Automotive Tire Sales and automotive service sales
  • Ability to influence the sales personnel and technicians in the training processes and monitoring the results
  • Bachelor Degree (preferred)
