The Youth Resiliency Specialist serves as a liaison to connect Native American youth to behavioral health services by creating internal and external partnerships within the American Indian Community. This role collaborates with behavioral health services and other departments within NATIVE HEALTH and the community. This role creates and fosters community partnerships by implementing suicide and substance abuse prevention messages/services for American Indians/Alaskan Natives. The Youth Resiliency Specialist coordinates cultural events for American Indian youth and their families.
