Job Summary


The Senior Director of Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) Services is responsible for overseeing external RCM service delivery partners, ensuring high-quality service delivery and client satisfaction. This role drives strategic initiatives, supports sales and marketing efforts and leads to the growth and development of the RCM service line. As a key leader, the Senior Director leverages market insights, fosters cross-functional collaboration and ensures operational excellence to enhance Nextech’s RCM offerings.

Essential Functions
  • Service Delivery Management 
  • Oversee and manage relationships with external RCM service delivery partners. 
  • Ensure the quality assurance of services provided to clients, maintaining high satisfaction levels. 
  • Monitor client metrics to ensure consistent performance and reference ability for RCM services. 
  • Market and Customer Insight 
  • Analyze market trends and customers need to inform strategic decisions. 
  • Leverage insights to continuously refine and enhance RCM services. 
  • Strategic Leadership 
  • Drive strategic initiatives that improve RCM service offerings and operational efficiency. 
  • Develop and implement long-term strategies for service improvement, scalability and growth. 
  • Technical Proficiency and Expertise 
  • Maintain expertise in RCM systems, technologies and regulatory requirements. 
  • Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for RCM, staying updated on industry best practices and changes. 
  • Data-Driven Decision Making 
  • Analyze key metrics and KPIs to optimize service delivery and identify areas for improvement. 
  • Utilize analytics tools and ROI methodologies to validate assumptions and optimize services. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration 
  • Collaborate with vendor partners, marketing, sales, finance and regulatory teams to align priorities and ensure seamless handoffs. 
  • Serve as a communication bridge between technical and non-technical teams to achieve common goals. 
  • Project Management 
  • Lead and manage RCM projects from initiation to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and within budget. 
  • Apply Agile methodologies, including sprint planning and backlog grooming, to manage project workflows and stakeholder expectations. 
  • Problem Solving and Adaptability 
  • Address and resolve complex challenges related to RCM services. 
  • Adapt to changing market conditions, regulations and client needs with agility and foresight. 
  • Leadership and Influence 
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the RCM team and external partners. 
  • Foster a culture of high performance, accountability and continuous improvement. 


Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in revenue cycle management.
  • Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and project management methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.


Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).
  • Familiarity with healthcare regulatory frameworks and RCM technologies.
  • Proficiency in using analytics tools like Tableau, Power BI or Salesforce for reporting and data-driven decision-making.
  • Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional teams and aligning diverse stakeholders toward common objectives.


Working Environment/Physical Demands
  • Nextech operates as a remote work organization
  • Significant time spent working on a computer in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Long-distance or air travel as needed – not to exceed 25% travel
