ServiceNow Implementation Specialist - Discovery and CMDB

About the Job

NEYO Ltd is looking for an experienced ServiceNow Implementation Specialist with a strong focus on Discovery and Configuration Management Database (CMDB) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the successful implementation and configuration of ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB solutions. You will work closely with clients to understand their business needs and optimize their ServiceNow environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation and configuration of ServiceNow Discovery and CMDB modules for clients, ensuring solutions align with their IT goals and processes.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, creating detailed functional specifications and implementation plans.
• Design and develop workflows, data models, and automated processes to optimize Discovery and the CMDB lifecycle.
• Conduct testing to ensure that the implemented solutions meet client expectations and adhere to quality standards.
• Provide expert guidance and support to clients on best practices for managing CMDBs and Discovery processes.
• Train and mentor clients and team members on the effective use of Discovery and CMDB functionalities within ServiceNow.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest ServiceNow capabilities, features, and best practices to continuously enhance the service offering.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to Discovery and CMDB functionalities.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience working with the ServiceNow platform, specifically in the Discovery and CMDB areas.
• ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist in Discovery and/or CMDB is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure, configurations, and application dependencies to effectively manage data in the CMDB.
• Proven experience in gathering and analyzing business requirements related to CMDB and Discovery.
• Ability to design and implement solutions that meet enterprise-level requirements.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL framework and its application in ServiceNow.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with a diverse group of stakeholders.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and ServiceNow reporting tools.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• ITIL Foundation certification is a plus.
