POSITION SUMMARY
The Customer Service & Support Representative (CSR) will provide a positive customer experience while supporting the Metro team with various tasks. They will contribute to customer strategies and team initiatives to help achieve overall goals and objectives.
WHAT YOU WILL DO:
- Supporting the Metro Specialist, the CSR will oversee general customer service tasks as needed, including providing vacation coverage.
- Tasks will include reviewing various customers contracts to identify requirements in collaboration with the Metro Specialist/Customer Service Manager, including terms and conditions, bid submission requirements (due date, copies, how to bind, etc.) and will assist with coordinating contract deliverables (insurance and bid bonds, etc.).
- Responsible for overall Return Material Authorization (RMA) reconciliation. Ensure that open RMA’s are cleared up timely.
- Responsible for review of all open orders; reporting aging and coach down status to the Metro Specialist and assist with developing a plan to expedite and drive delivery of parts to customers timely.
- Support in creating and monitoring New Load Requests, Data Change Requests and Pricing Requests.
- Participate in supporting major projects or programs in collaboration with the Metro Specialist as required.
- Work in conjunction with Metro Specialist to prioritize tasks with the Customer Service Representatives.
- Miscellaneous responsibilities as assigned by the Customer Service Manager/Metro Specialist.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
- Post-secondary education in Business or related discipline and/or equivalent experience.
- Superior knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to converse in a professional manner in both written and verbal communication.
- Advanced problem solving, organizational and analytical skills.
- Motivated self-starter, comfortable in a fast- paced environment.
- Experience of Oracle systems and process would be considered an asset.
- Working knowledge of bill of materials is an asset.
- Experience in the automotive or transit industry is an asset.
