About this Job  

The Fresh & Pantry Client Manager is responsible for all client activity and overall success of NielsenIQ at the client.  This includes successfully delivering revenue goals for NIQ, driving client value strategy, and overall client satisfaction or client health. Works successfully across a matrixed organization structure in a collaborative setting, fully leveraging the NIQ service model as a key input into the overall client strategy.

There is about 10% travel per year with this role. 

  Responsibilities: 

Delivers on revenue goals for NIQ:

  • Builds and manages operating plan for assigned client small and medium clients
  • Identifying sales opportunities for NIQ Services and Solution to help client and achieve strategic objectives and NIQ operating plan
  • Manages and owns client account sales operating rhythm including pipeline management, forecasting, annual operating plan, and 3YP
  • Accountable for annual account planning process, with quarterly reviews
  • Collaborative leader, partnering with Sales Leaders and Practice Areas to enable them to achieve sales goals
  • Gaining familiarity with NielsenIQ portfolio and inter-connectivity of different solutions

Drives outcomes as a consultative relationship leader:

  • Holds strong executive presence 
  • Builds and maintains strong networking and C-suite engagement with key players at client, leading discussions with a wide range of decision influencers and budget owners
  • Builds and manages client relationships to ensure client stakeholders are aware of outcomes and value NielsenIQ is delivering
  • Develops external Joint Business Plan with client
  • Creates internal Joint Business Plan with Sales Leaders & Practice Areas

Accountable for management of client contract and renewals

  • Partners with NIQ cross functional partner to manage end to end NIQ contract
  • Renewal ownership and financial outcomes; partners with NA renewal center

Accountable for overall NIQ account team success by: 

  • Leads overall client strategy with account team and key NIQ stakeholders
  • Coaches on-site Client Service team to ensure timely outcomes and value is delivered to client via analytics delivered
  • Customer health (NPS reaction planning) & Issue escalation
  • Promotes NielsenIQ through presentations at conferences and similar external events to cultivate specific new client leads and opportunities among existing clients

A little bit about you  

You enjoy fostering and growing customer relationships and working with syndicated data sets and analytic solutions across large matrixed organizations. You seek to educate your clients on various areas across the NielsenIQ product suite and are looking to create fully integrated solutions to solve your client’s most pressing business issues. You’re comfortable with learning, using, and presenting the benefits of the industry’s latest cloud-based technology and analytic solutions.  

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • BA in Business, Marketing, or related field.  
  • Strong selling, critical thinking, analytic, customer service and interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication (verbal and written), presentation and negotiation skills.  
  • Self-motivated with a sense of urgency and well organized.  
  • Working knowledge of CPG, Market Research, or related industries preferred  
  • 5+ years of business analytic and account management experience.
  • Creative, independent work ethic with the ability to solve problems.  
  • Team player.  
  • Proficient in MS Office products. 

This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation of the following range: $74,900-$85,000. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location. This role might also be eligible for a sales-based incentive or performance-based bonus.
