Responsibilities
- Generate new business opportunities through research, networking, and lead generation.
- Prompt follow-up on all leads via phone and email to generate trials/sales and referrals.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations for senior leaders.
- Build and nurture relationships with MATs, LEAs and School Groups.
- Manage the sales process from lead generation to close.
- Meet and exceed sales targets.
- Attend regional/national events. e.g. conferences, workshops, webinars, HT meetings (online and/or in person).
- Work closely in collaboration with the Marketing, Customer Success, Ops and Product teams.
- Facilitate training sessions for school staff remotely and in person, as needed.
Strategy
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies for your territory.
- Use app analytics to track school usage during trials and inform your approach to sales.
- Report on monthly targets and keep track of why schools do/don’t subscribe.
- Take action when necessary to meet targets.
- Keep CRM and CMS systems up-to-date and accurate.
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in sales, preferably within the education sector.
- Entrepreneurial mindset with a creative approach to problem-solving.
- Proficiency in CRM software.
- Excellent people skills with the ability to inspire and engage.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills
- Consistently follow company policies and strive to live the organisation's values, contributing to a positive and aligned workplace culture.
