Customer Service Training Specialist

NXT GIG is looking for a dedicated and knowledgeable Customer Service Training Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and delivering training programs that enhance the skills and effectiveness of our customer service representatives. Your goal will be to ensure that our team is equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to provide exceptional service to our clients. You will conduct needs assessments, design training curricula, and evaluate the impact of training initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a background in customer service, and a passion for mentoring and helping others succeed. Responsibilities

  • Develop comprehensive training programs for customer service representatives, covering product knowledge, service skills, and client engagement.
  • Conduct needs assessments to identify skill gaps and training needs within the team.
  • Deliver interactive training sessions using various instructional techniques and formats.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments and feedback to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and customer service trends to inform training content.
  • Collaborate with management to align training initiatives with company goals and customer service expectations.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and support to customer service representatives post-training.
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in customer service training or instructional design.
  • Strong knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
  • Excellent presentation and facilitation skills.
  • Ability to assess training needs and measure training effectiveness.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with team members.
  • Proficiency in training software and tools is a plus.
