OMD EMEA - Media Operation Manager

About the Role:

This role will involve pro actively working with media partners and technology vendors to collect invoices and statements each month. You will work with an offshore team who will book invoices into Prisma and an onshore team who will reconcile numbers each quarter. All invoices need to be processed within 5 days of receipt, so we are looking for someone who is able to deal with a high volume of work and stay on top of deadlines. You will need to ensure that all work from the offshore team is completed on time and QA’d thoroughly. You will also work closely with the payables team to evaluate any Prisma bookings that cannot be processed and rectify issues in a timely manner.

Responsibilities: 

  • Lead the operational and finance needs of a digital investment team.
  • Strong knowledge of financial systems and processes. 
  • Ability to pro-actively work with media owners and technology vendors, with good written and verbal communication. 
  • Ensure that all invoices are booked into internal systems accurately and on time to allow for payments to be made on time. 
  • Develop new processes and ways of working to streamline the invoicing and reconciliation process. 
  • Take a lead in quarterly finance audits. 
  • You will work with multiple channel teams and an offshore team to help the process of booking and paying invoices run smoothly. 
  • We want people in the team to come to you for guidance and support - you will be an expert in payables, reconciliation and audit processes. 
  • You will build relationships with people from across the agency and learn from their experience. 
  • You need to be a proactive and curious learner; keen to develop and learn new skills independently and share and collaborate with a wider team. 

 

What we're looking for: 

  • Experience in a relevant finance or media operations role.
  • Previous experience booking invoices and working with external finance teams.
  • You’ll be responsible for managing an offshore team and regularly briefing them with work.
  • You should be comfortable using Excel and able to handle large sheets of data.
  • Knowledge of finance platforms and processes, particularly on the payables side.
  • You should be comfortable with troubleshooting issues relating to invoices and media bookings.
  • You’ll need to be very well organised and able to juggle multiple priorities.
  • We need someone capable of managing a variety stakeholders - publishers, tech partners, finance, digital investment, offshore teams.
  • Organisation and attention to detail are key to being successful in this role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Knowledge of CORE, Prisma, DDS or Tungsten would be preferred.
